Very nice park, in the same moment you can see two biggest icons of Istanbul (Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque). Many people during the day but in the night time you have that view reserved just for you. Many shops and restaurants around. One of the stunning places in Istanbul :)

This is a lovely park is not that big or small … has the beautiful view of the blue mosque and the Sophia mosque lovely fountains, people selling some street food, cafes, restaurants, lovely flower and grass arrangements…. I felt safe since is a lot of police everywhere. They have some lovely dogs and cats.

Very well-kept complex that allows a very good view of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. We were here on a Saturday and it was packed. But it's also interesting to see how many countries the visitors come from. We strolled past Hagia Sophia to Topkapi and then walked through Gülhane Park to the Bosphorus.

Very beautiful and historical place and attractive place for Tourists. Very good climate for tourism in June to December. Sultan Ahmet Park, nestled in the shadow of the iconic Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia) in Istanbul, stands as a tranquil oasis that invites visitors to immerse themselves in the rich history and beauty of the city. This park is more than just a green space; it's a testament to Istanbul's cultural heritage and an ideal complement to the majestic landmarks that surround it. The first thing that strikes you upon entering Sultan Ahmet Park is its harmonious blend of natural beauty and architectural marvels. The park's lush green lawns, vibrant flowers, and well-maintained pathways create a serene backdrop against the grandeur of Ayasofya. It's a perfect spot for taking a leisurely stroll, finding a quiet bench to read, or simply gazing up at the awe-inspiring dome of the historic monument. The park's layout is thoughtfully designed, offering a range of options for relaxation and contemplation. Whether you're seeking a shaded corner to escape the sun or an open area to enjoy a picnic with friends and family, Sultan Ahmet Park caters to diverse preferences. What sets this park apart is its unrivaled views. With Ayasofya as its backdrop, the park offers an unparalleled vantage point for taking in the architectural splendor of the centuries-old marvel. Whether you're visiting during the day to appreciate the intricate details of the building or at night when it's beautifully illuminated, the park provides a unique perspective on one of Istanbul's most celebrated landmarks. Sultan Ahmet Park also serves as a gathering place for both locals and tourists. It's a hub of activity where people come to enjoy leisurely moments, have engaging conversations, or simply soak in the atmosphere. The park's location at the heart of Istanbul's historic district makes it a natural meeting point for those exploring the surrounding sights. The changing seasons bring a new dimension to the park's beauty. From the vibrant blooms of spring to the golden hues of autumn, each season paints a different portrait of the park's surroundings, ensuring that each visit is a unique experience. In conclusion, Sultan Ahmet Park in Ayasofya, Istanbul, is a gem that seamlessly integrates nature, history, and community. Its role as a serene enclave amidst the city's architectural treasures, coupled with its breathtaking views and serene ambiance, makes it a must-visit destination for those seeking a moment of tranquility and a chance to connect with Istanbul's storied past. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a history buff, or simply in search of a peaceful escape, this park offers an enchanting retreat that captures the essence of Istanbul's magic.

Very pleasant but crowded place. It is worth seeing in the evening, after sunset, all the lights create amazing climate. It is safe both in day and night :-) It is closed for traffic.

A very very beautiful but extremely crowded place. People are very very strange when it comes to communication. Either the people are too too communal to even come out of their “ only Turkey language “ or they really don’t want to communicate anything in English language. Some even deliberately turned off their face, when someone pleaded for urgent directions in English language. This included their Police and local Tourism Police too.

Beautiful small park with a fountain in the middle , just between haga Sofia and the blue mosque. The fountain is nicely decorated with mosaic on the sides. I visited the place on Saturday and is was extremely busy. The queue of tourists wanted to enter hagia Sofia was enormous. Obviously only a nice spot can attract such amount of attention.

A very nice park between two mosques. This place is more beautiful at night with all the resounding lights. This area is in the middle of the historic district of Istanbul. This area will get very crowded on weekends and public holidays.

The park is between the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. A popular tourist place. Long queue for people trying to enter the attractions. There is a water fountain in the middle which has color changing often. Many cats, dogs and birds but the park is clean and tidy. Very crowded area during the day.

One of the most beautiful places in Istanbul From this park you can see the historical Ayasofya, Sultana Ahmet, it is also sorunded with many coffees, restaurants and markets There are many car parks but most of the time crowded, my advice to use tram to visit this area in the morning, till 8 pm, later you can come easily and find a park
