Fantastic little joint with a patio across the street serving authentic Turkish food at great pricing. You can't miss this if you're around the Sultanahmet area and looking for high quality Turkish cuisine. Its an absolute opposite to the majority of low quality food, money minting and bothering restaurants all over Istanbul who are just after your money. The staff is super courteous and professional as well. The whole experience will leave you wanting and coming for more. Just can't recommend it enough!

Ultra friendly place with a hearty durum (kebab roll) or kebab served with 🍆 and youghurt - very comfortable relaxing place where your food was made with soul. I especially liked the 🥙flatbread, and meat was juicy and full of flavor. Great pit stop.

We were walking from the Egyptian market and we stumbled across this restaurant and I said we must check it out and it turned out It’s one of the best restaurants in Sultanahmet area The staff were friendly and helpful also the upstairs dining area looks like an old castle also you can feel the history in it We loved the food but for me especially (Ali nazik) it's a kebab with eggplant yogurt sauce, I highly recommend it and Definitely will visit again.

We decided to try this place based on the great Google reviews and thanks everyone! You did not steer us wrong! This place was great. Wonderful food, superb service! And if you’re looking for a more authenticity local-feeling experience, head to Kosk. This restaurant is split into two spots across the street from one another. The owner is so nice! He wasn’t trying to sell us on anything. He led us to our own private room upstairs and we had a great people-watching view from our window. All the food was delicious! I ordered the Aubergine Kebap based on another review. Be aware is also has lamb, which I usually don’t order, but it was delicious! The other picture is the Chicken Salad (also wonderful)!

Strolling around the city I found this kebab place. It is a must try if you are in the area. Wonderful food, friendly staff and very inexpensive for the quality offered. Highly recommended! It also has some tables in the first floor with a few of them being just in front of a window.

Really tasty food especially the lamb shish and adana kebab, and their service was great too, I highly recommend this eatery. Try grabbing the small upstairs room if it's available, you will enjoy eating in a cosy ottoman ambience.

One of the best falafels! And everything served was really great! The lady seemed to be quite blunt, but she turned out so caring, and we got one extra falafel after ordering 4 dishes! Two thumbs up good for durum and vegetarians!

Amazing food, fantastic staff (who aren't pushy at all like all the other restaurants nearby) and great atmosphere...couldn't ask for more. I had the chicken salad on day 1 of our trip and the spicy kebab on day 4, both so tasty and reasonably priced. UPDATE...so good we went back a 3rd time on our last day, ordered the garlic kebab based on staff recommendation and it was absolutely fantastic, best meal of the lot, so flavoursome.

Delicious food, outstanding service and great seating options (outdoor seating and rooftop). Off to the side in a relatively less busy area, this place is great for readers or those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle. I ordered the chicken salad and sema - loved both. Came with a complimentary apple tea too. Highly recommend!

I visited here at the end of May earlier this year as it was at the end of the road from the hostel I was staying at. The food here is delicious - I ate here for lunch and dinner several times, I loved the mixed kebab and the stuffed vine leaves, with some pomegranate tea. The owner Doman and the staff are wonderful people who take great care of you, they were not pushy at all. I highly recommend this place as the food was great value for money and it was always fantastic to talk to Doman

The best kebab we have had in Turkey, close to Hagia Sophia Fresh but doesn’t feel touristy. cooked to perfection. Ask for the chilli sauce for an extra kick

This is such a cute family run place. The food was delicious. We ordered the falafel, vegetarian plate, and walnut kadayif. The people were not pushy at all, but happy to help. There were also several locals!

Super tasty food! We got takeaways as the shop was closing. The salads they were preparing were so fresh and thoughtfully made. All the food was fabulous. Don’t hesitate to visit. All these dishes were vegan. They had run out of hummus as they make it fresh on the day. Card payment option available

Vegan friendly restaurant in Istanbul :) we ordered the hummus, falafel and aubergine dish! With apple tea! They were very understanding and removed yogurt off one of our dishes! Great value and close to some of the main highlights in the old town! There's seating outside and inside!

We come here for the durum - was had the chicken one 🐓 It was ok but a bit dry - needed sauce so we ask for the yogurt sauce that you can have as a starter but with no bread on the side I felt it was expensive, 60 liras for a Durum that we had to ask for the 40 liras yogurt sauce no make it less dry. The terrace is nice to eat in the shadow however is very noisy with the car passing all the time Overall I don’t recommend coming here

An extraordinary restaurant that we have returned to many times. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and very tasty food. In addition to the restaurant, there is a patisserie with excellent Turkish pastries.

An incredible find in Istanbul! We have tried more than 20+ restaurants so far (low end and high end), yet nothing beats this humble kebap shop. The chicken skewers are by far the best we've tasted, both in terms of spices and in tenderness. Service is excellent, with very friendly personnel and the food is quickly served. As for the seating, one can sit in the cute arched top floor or on the terrace in front. We are already looking forward to our next visit here :) thank you!

I am lost for words. I have had hundreds of kebabs through the years. The best kebab experience i have ever had was the garlic kebab at Kösk Kebap. Outstanding food - balance of accidity, salt, sugar and umami. Kösk Kebap has outstanding outdoor facilities with walnut tables, cozy sofas and perfect location. What truly contributes to the experience of having dinner at Kösk Kebap is the outstanding service. You will feel welcome any given day, any given time, any given mood. In the jungle of kebab places in Istanbul you cannot go wrong with Kösk kebap. A short walk from the blue mosque or Agia Sofia and you will be greeted with lovely food. I would highly recommend acquiring food at Kösk Kebap and it stands out as the best authentic kebab i have had. Period. End your feast with a sweet dessert like the baklava paired with coffee or a cup of tea and you will be greatly satisfied. The staff knows english and they accept cash and card

Awesome place to grab authentic kebab. Very reasonable prices for a lot of food. The owner was very friendly and didn’t try to upsell or push items. 1700 lira for 3 people for a great meal!

Honestly it’s a really nice local restaurant. Charcoal grilled food is freshly cooked, very fresh with reasonable price! The eggplant tomato appetiser is also tasty! Highly recommended : )
