👍👍 Excellent and friendly service! After coming back from Italy, this restaurant has the most authentic Italian pizza I’ve had since, and whenever I’m in the area or plan to be (definitely book ahead) I come here! Whatever you order you will salivate to come back and have again!

👍👍 We stop here often on our way north. Good quality, reasonably priced food. Nice outdoor seating (there is some indoor seating also but we normally like the fresh air). They've recently done up the car park which had a few potholes before it was done up, and added some extra seating. Looks great!

👍👍 Not many places open for lunch on a Monday in the off-season, so Sandbar was one of our few options. Very happy with our 3 mains and service was quick even though they were quite busy.

👍👍 It was an accidental find! We were driving towards Coffs Harbour and I wanted a Driver Reviver Break. We pulled up in Kew Information Centre and had a lovely chat with the people inside the information Centre and they told us that the Big Axe was just outside the building!

😐 For a takeaway in the location it is, I would have thought they would serve fresh prawn cutlets and calamari. Turned to mush. On a positive, the cafe is well presented and in a prime location. Staff were great
