Best places: Community centers in Halifax, Canada

👍👍 What a wonderful evening spent listening to jazz under the glow of candlelight. My 26yr old son took me on a datenight and we both loved every minute. I cant wait for the next candlelight concert….

👍👍 This is a well-equipped recreational center which has a library, a fitting gym with waving pool and so on. The place make me feel quite cozy and relaxed. It's different from the Halifax city style or Cole Harbour town style municipal facilities. It's good to grab a juicy apple from the library.

👍👍 Very friendly staff and great summer camps. There are 2 hockey rinks one is larger than the other (used for speed skating), a gym, outside pool and a gym, not much for seating. Lots of parking

🫤 The program was amazing but the facility was not ideal. The parking is terrible. Too many spots designated and not clear where you can park, only where you can't. Too much integration with the high school. There are no change tables or amenities for small children/ toddlers in either the washroom...

👍👍 Newly renovated and BEAUTIFUL inside and out! Several of the Halifax Rec programs are run out here and both the inside and outside are spacious, clean, intuitive, and inviting.

👍👍 It’s a indoor mini stadium for events and ice hockey games

😐 Last 2 weekends there has been no schedule on the screen for the dressing rooms. Everyone comes in and has no clue which dressing room to use... people are spread everywhere and some programs have to wait for people to clear out because of the confussion

👍 Always something interesting going on here. It's a lively place, and the volunteers are amazing. They need to fix the stair lifts for people with mobility issues.

👍👍 Well deserved 5 * for this hall. Sufficient for around 100 members, spacious hall with kitchen and bathroom facilities. Love to get together in this beautiful space.
