👍👍 I love stopping here with my canoe and getting a few casts in at the end of the day. We almost always catch something, even if they are too small to keep.

👍👍 A nice man-made "lake" inside of Green Timber Urban Forest. It is stocked with fish and is home to many species of wildlife. Fishing is allowed, though I personally wouldn't eat anything caught here. I would be interested in seeing what water sample analysis shows in the water, as much of it is actu...

😐 This is a nice short walk up at Cypress Mountain. Appropriate for 5 and under. There is no elevation gain and it takes about 30 minutes with a couple stops. If you’re looking to take young kids up to the mountain it’s perfect. If you’re looking for a mountain hike, you won’t find it here. I would...

👍👍 #12 is the culvert marker along the roadway used by the municipality road maintenance crews. There is really only a small pullout for parking, though you can find another pullout down the road a bit. The first 5 minutes of the hike takes you up a steep unused gravel road to the trailhead which will...

👍 A nice walkable distance from the Snug Cove (Bowen Island Ferry terminal), this lake is very beautiful and serene. A perfect area for a leisure hike or a weekend hike.

👍👍 Not the easiest hike, but if you like some challenges, and to explore, you going to like it. Once you get up there, it's beautiful. We went on end of June and it was about 38C, but there were lot of snow at the lake. As per staff best time to go in Mid July or August.
