👍👍 A nice man-made "lake" inside of Green Timber Urban Forest. It is stocked with fish and is home to many species of wildlife. Fishing is allowed, though I personally wouldn't eat anything caught here. I would be interested in seeing what water sample analysis shows in the water, as much of it is actu...

👍👍 Not the easiest hike, but if you like some challenges, and to explore, you going to like it. Once you get up there, it's beautiful. We went on end of June and it was about 38C, but there were lot of snow at the lake. As per staff best time to go in Mid July or August.

👍👍 Beaver Lake is the best place in Vancouver for a nice walk. Lots of people take pictures, cycle around and walk around the loop. Because there is some construction going on there, you can only do half of the loop. These are my photos of Beaver Lake.

🫤 I decided to explore a new lake this past weekend and Whyte Lake was a bit of a disappointment. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely trail. Lots of old growth and beautiful setting. Takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the Lake. The first 5 or so minutes has a nice steep incline but then it’s all good...
