😐 2023 September 3★ It's a bridge folks. It connects you over the river so thankfully you don't need to swim across or go around it. Note. The river can smell. There are a fair number of mosquitoes. So don't hang around long.

👍👍 Charming little pedestrian bridge with an astronomical theme. This is a good example of what a municipality can do to create a lovely landmark on a relatively small scale. Go at night in order to enjoy it. Would love to return in winter after a snow.

👍👍 Thoroughly enjoy visiting the locks here and see the ships passing by. Bridge
👍👍 A brilliant place to come visit and have a quick history lesson. Lots of people around which did not take away from the authenticity of nature. A large park in the middle of London. Lots of views, whether it is of Fanshawe Lake or the Fanshawe River. #localguides

Parry Sound CPR Trestle
Bridge
👍👍 In 1907 construction finished. In 1908 the first train crossed the Trestle. In 1914 Tom Thompson (group of seven) painted it. It is 517 m long and the longest rail trestle east of the Rockies.

Old Finch Avenue Bailey Bridge
Bridge
👍👍 “Constructed by the 2nd Field Engineer Regiment of the Cdn Military Engineers after Hurricane Hazel washed out most bridges in Scarborough in 1954, this Bailey bridge spanning Rouge Creek kept the burn going. It’s one of only two Bailey bridges still in use in Toronto (the other crosses the Lakeshor...
