👍👍 Regardless of the Castle nearby, this Church is worth a visit in it's own right. It has become a place of pilgrimage for many since the Pope donated the beautiful painting of Mary (Lady of Trsat) in 1397.
Some really beautiful murals inside this late gothic church restored with Baroque renovations.

👍 This is the fastest way to get on Trsat from city centre. Recommended to park your car on main parking at Delta - it is only two minutes walk to the beginning of Stairway. Nice views all around when hiking over those 500 (and something) stairs. Highly recommended for almost everyone.
