👍👍 Regardless of the Castle nearby, this Church is worth a visit in it's own right. It has become a place of pilgrimage for many since the Pope donated the beautiful painting of Mary (Lady of Trsat) in 1397. Some really beautiful murals inside this late gothic church restored with Baroque renovations.

😠 Was misled by reviews. This is not a book caffe, this is stinky smoky bar with rude waitress. Old staff also smells bad, no way somebody wants to sit and enjoy reading.

👍 This is the fastest way to get on Trsat from city centre. Recommended to park your car on main parking at Delta - it is only two minutes walk to the beginning of Stairway. Nice views all around when hiking over those 500 (and something) stairs. Highly recommended for almost everyone.

👍👍 Beautiful old ruins of a 19th century mill. You can read more about it at riekaheritage webiste. It is easily accessible from Riječke šetnice (if you come by car - you can leave it there), or by a longer walk from town, starting from Školjić Parking.
