Best places: Things to dos in Champagne, France

👍👍 As everyone else has said, this place is quite amazing. There is a car park but it has a height barrier. Fortunately for those of us with hightop vans there is roadside parking.

👍 We went there for a quick stop and ended up staying almost all day. It's a very nice place to visit with kids.

👍👍 Fantastische Konstruktion, die letzte Hängefähre dieser Art in Frankreich, sehr sehenswert, das Boot, das früher die Menschen, auch Pierre Loti, ans andere Ufer brachte, ist einige Meter entfernt aufgestellt.

👍👍 Loved walking around here. Lovely old fort, free entry just on the beach. It was really cold when we went so had to wrap up. well worth a visit.

😐 This was our second visit. It’s certainly a nice little village but not the prettiest in France. It’s very much after the tourist trade and the places to eat were very expensive. If you like bespoke art shops and a bohemian feel then it’s worth a visit as parking is free

👍👍 Probably the best beach of the island (at least of the southern half). Plenty of parking spots, a food truck, the trees around make it look pretty and not just a big desert that meets the ocean. Great place to by car, by bike, or just walking. During the low tide it's THE place for on-foot fishing.

👍👍 A brilliant experience with friendly attentive staff and amazing food. Well worth doing at least once.

👍👍 Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area. Our Son had a particularly fabulous time on the boats!
