Kurfürst Friedrich V. ließ das prachtvoll gestaltete Bauwerk als Zugang zu ihrem privaten Lustgarten errichten. Das Elisabethentor ist frei Zugänglich und ohne Eintrittskarten zu bewundern.

👍👍 Erstmal eher kleiner, fast unscheinbarer Historismus, dann aber - wenn man oben ist (und mit Kindern sowieso) - ein wirklich toller Ausblick über den Kohlhof und den Kraichgau. Kommt natürlich immer auf's Wetter an, aber einen unterhaltsamen Abstecher ist es allemal wert.
