👍👍 In the middle of the forest there is an old bunker complex and some small ponds. Can only be reached on foot or by bike. Quite interesting to see what has become of it over time. Otherwise quite spectacular, but if you want to hike through the forest anyway, this is a pleasant place to make the walk...

👍👍 The Schee Tunnel is a former railway tunnel on the “coal railway” from Hattingen to Wuppertal. Today the route is used as a cycle path and footpath. The tunnel is paved but justifiably poorly lit. 👍👍 Nice place on the Nordbahntrasse, the still relatively new Am Bracken bridge. Here you can take a short rest and enjoy the beautiful view. Storage space for bicycles and a bench are available.
