😐 I would rather pay and see history being well maintained than what I saw here. Unfortunately this is common in Kos.
I don’t get why people give 5 stars: have you being to Rome or Venice? History needs to be preserved.

👍👍 Mehrere hundert Jahre lang war das Areal der westlichen Ausgrabungen ungenutzt und wurde nicht neu bebaut. Die Reste der antiken Bauwerke befinden sich deshalb in einem relativ guten Zustand.
Auf dem Gelände gibt es zwei antike Straßen. Auf beiden Seiten der Straße sieht man Steinplatten, die Spuren...

👍 I saw the photos of the mosk before the earthquake and it looked as an attractive landmark. Now, it looks really dilapidated and abandoned, while being located right at the center of downtown. It would be wise to do something on this point, maybe little restoration..

The Loggia mosque - Mosque of Gazi Hassan Pasha

😐 Extraordinarily beautiful building for the outside but in desperate need of tlc after the earthquake. Can't go inside or worship. So disappointing to see buildings like this all over Kos Town.
