😐 The house looked quite impressive, but unfortunately, we were not able to get very close. We wish we would have been able to get closer or even tour the inside since it is positioned as an attraction on-site.

😐 This is in poor condition and I am not sure that it could be described as a monument. I cannot find any reference to a Captain Frederick Hanson Monument ... all that I can determine is that a flagstaff of Douglas Fir was erected at this location in May 1864.
