Best places: Vegetarian restaurants in Nara, Japan

👍👍 Feels like you enter a Japanese home. Very friendly owner. Warm wooden tables. We had the Japanese plate and the bento. Food is vegan, traditional, and was absolutely delicious.

👍👍 We found this amazing vegetarian restaurant on our visit to Nara. The food was delicious and would recommend anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine. On top of that the hospitality was out of the world. We had a great time and will definitely visit again on our next trip to Nara.

👍👍 2016: My favorite izakaya in Nara, which I have visited around 5-7 times. The food is various, creative, and excellent. Avoid the cheaper izakaya around, the quality is totally different. Came back in 2022: Still amazing! The waiter is also so lovely! Thanks for those wonderful memories.

😠 1 hour (no kidding) to serve appetizer and this came. Please do Indians a favor and close what you call Indian restaurant. Biryani came without raita, naan came without curry, naan is a joke and came in installments. And all this when it isn't even cheap. You can probably have good kaiseki with this...
