👍👍 Sat watching A Bridge Too Far as I write this. My Grandfather Godfrey Parkin was part of the RAF who went on to guard the bridge. Sadly he died when I was a baby so I never really got to know him 😢. But I would love to go and visit here.

👍 Beautiful historic gate yo the city of Arnhem. The place was bommed flat during WWII and the surrounding buildings are the remaining proof of the need to rebuild the city quickly without taking care of architectural aesthetic values.
