👍👍 Best eel in town. If you buy an eel sandwich here, you get it on a nice warm sandwich. Really to die for! If you are in the area, pass by to get it, it’s worth the effort! Also good to know; there are two eel smokers next to each other. In my opinion both are equal in quality.

👍👍 My first taste for Dutch "Paling" smoky eel. You can smell the smoky in the air at the resturant. Paling it's so tasted with great fish oil and texture so soft even 2 years old baby boy love it. It's open 30 years as family business, young successor is polite with good skill to deal with Paling. 👍

👍👍 Fantastic fresh and fried fish right at the beach in Katwijk aan Zee. Usually my go-to place for any fishy business would be Hartevelt at the boulevard, but I've now been here twice in a week time and it's kibbeling, fried mussels and Hollandse Nieuwe herring are really, really great!

👍👍 For about 13€ I got a MASSIVE amount of super crunchy calamari, a delicious salad on the side, a huge amount of fresh fries and some nice mayonnaise... Everything was super delicious and fresh. I can see why they say they have the best fish in town... If you visit Katwijk, eating here is a MUST.
