👍 Lake Florida is a nice place to relax for a picnic or a barbeque with family and friends. The lake boasts of massive waterfowl and there is canoeing classes for kids free of charge on weekends.

👍 This is a great place with easily accessible public transport going anywhere to Bara taxi Rank, Protea Glen, Chiawelo, Mapetla, Naledi. Just remember to be safe and be vigilant!

👍👍 Over the years there has been a scourge of vagrants and people deciding to have alcohol infused parties in this park. In recent times the City of Johannesburg seems to have won the victory against this scourge and the park is once again worthy of visiting.

😐 It's literally right next to the main road and that doesn't do it for me if that doesn't bother you it's a good place to hangout though I would recommend to be vigilant someone somewhere is you

👍👍 Highly recommended for any special occasion you have in mind be it with any relation group discription, this park is legit really hard to leave hey... no matter the weather it's always a great atmosphere to be in. Safe and clean and kids friendly.

😠 Firstly the dam is very populated and their are almost no wild birds. There is also no public toilets. No shade and most of the trees have been cut down
