👍👍 The new Karugastota bridge was built in 2009. Much broader than the old one. Four lanes of traffic could move. The bridge is across the Mahaweli river in Katugastota. It's on the Jaffna - Kandy highway. Connects city if Kandy and Katugastota.

😐 You will get good view of nature from here. But hanging bridge is completely broken. Not in usable condition. It's scrap now.
