👍👍 Wonderful open space with numerous paths to explore. Lovely selection of trees & shrubs giving a variety of colours. Large quantities of bird life so take some binoculars. Perfect area for walking dogs, although cattle can be present at times.

👍👍 I love taking my dog here. He loves to frollick in amongst the heather and gorse bushes and loves all the sights and smells of the nature reserve. You’d never realise your inside two bustling towns and I must says the heath feels quite like an oasis in amongst the urban jungle that is Bournemouth.

Could do without the odd idiot that thinks it is OK to bring a motorbike or quad bike onto the Reserve against the rules though. Good for kids with playground and skateboard...
