Green space with outdoor pool and cafe, play, skateboard and picnic areas, tennis courts and woods.

👍👍 Only just found out that it's the start of the river cam,after years of visiting on and off,got some lovely clear fresh spring water,it makes a great cup of tea ! Take your children there,the can paddle safely,the water it only a few inches deep.

👍👍 Very nice and clean park to go to with kids, the new interactive toy is very popular and it's great that they set up the water play area every year, also plenty of space on the grass to relax.

👍👍 Standard rugby ground with clubhouse and pitch, adjacent to a public park. Main reason for my visit was the annual CAMRA Hitchin beer festival.

👍👍 Adjacent to the Broadway theater are the gardens bearing the same name. Although it was a slightly rainy morning, it was still great to walk in the green and beautiful area of ​​the city. The fountains are a prominent landmark in the place. The garden serves as a suitable setting for them.

👍 Nice to spend a few minutes on the bench to soak in some much needed sunshine. In the summer time there are more birds around to observe.

👍 Nice park, well maintained. If you are there with kids then be mindful of a road running alongside the park. Would be nice to have some playground pieces there for smaller kids.

👍👍 Fantastic new park. Perfect for my 3 year old and older kids too. Trampoline, swings, sea saw, roundabout, climbing frame, slide. Lots to do, right next to a large field so perfect for picnics too. Only issue is no toilets.

We left the meadow area (fenced off bit) & followed the sign posted walk, even doing this the walk only took about half an hour, I believe there are further walks but none of these loop you back to the car park.
