👍👍 Lovely cafe with hot chocolate to die for. Sat on the grass having a break. Felt so lovely just chilling with a drink watching the world go by. Hats off to the team for making it so nice. Will be stopping by in a few days for some lunch too.

👍👍 I haven't been inside but it's nice place for walk. Big area to have nice family walk when you can spot cows and wild animals. A bit muddy but with "winter" weather its not surprising. A bit of Noise from motorway but it's not disturbing walk and chilling at all.

👍👍 A former colliery site transformed into a nature park. It hasn't been over-managed and there are plenty of wild areas of flowers and long grass. There are several lakes and pools which are good for wildfowl. Some of them are fenced off to prevent disturbance. The site is excellent for butterflies....

👍👍 This is well worth a visit. Very informative about our mining history. The staff great and its all dog friendly and all they ask for is a small donation because its run by volunteers.
