👍👍 A beautiful, peaceful walk just outside the villages of Metheringham and Blankney. The single track leads through a stunning arched bridge and past a flowing stream surrounded by colourful trees and countryside. A regular, great escape for an hour.

👍👍 We parked in Troutbeck and had a steady walk up and along the ridge to Wansfell Pike. It wasn't a very difficult walk up to the fell but was very boggy in places. The views of Windamere were beautiful and also great views of Ambleside.

👍👍 Lovely flat walk that takes you all the way to the edge of Long Melford. Takes 1 hour each way. The path in February is dry with little mud. Lots of birds in the trees and on the adjacent meadows.

👍👍 Quite an easy and accessible walk along the trackbed of the Hadleigh branch. The path is well maintained and mostly flat with parking at both ends. The walk is about 2 miles there and 2 miles back and mostly wooded.
