👍 Stumbled upon this splashpad while on a walk through the park. It was fully functional. The brick is great because it's not too slippery for little kids.

👍👍 Being a Yellow Jacket myself, this tower evokes memories, pride, and sense of belonging to the GT community worldwide. A historical landmark itself, it speaks for the time-tested tradition of excellence that is imbibed in every student that has studied here. As a Yellow Jacket, one stands tall despi...

Pronto Transportation Services Inc
Handicapped transportation service
👍👍 I would absolutely give this business 10 stars if I could! Jermain not only accommodated my transportation needs, he woke up on a Saturday morning for a 5:30am pick up time. He was prompt on both pick up times, professional, personable, and I felt cared for and safe riding with him. He was patient o...

First Congregational Church, UCC
United Church of Christ
😠 God spoke to me and told me to go to his house and pray (I admit I wasn't looking my Sunday best) and they turned me away. Told me I was welcome to sit outside on the bench and pray. The bible says come as you are. This church is gotten too big for the common man. I still sat on the stairs and praye...

Civil Rights Tours Atlanta
Bus tour agency
🫤 We had high hopes for this tour, as we are very interested in history, and the civil rights movement. The tour started out on the wrong foot, because there were several problems with the tour bus. First, there was no working sound system, and we all struggled to hear our tour guide, Tom. Second, t...

Atlanta Beltline Inc image

Atlanta Beltline Inc

😐 I love the belt line and what it has done for the city. But the East Side stretch from Piedmont Park to Irwin is far far too dangerously crowded. Walkers make up about 75-90% of the traffic on the belt line whenever I am out there riding. Most walking groups often walk more than half the path wid...

Orme Park
Park
👍👍 Finally someone realized that the benches in any playground should be in perpetual shade! While my child enjoys playing like an endurance athlete training for an ultra marathon my enjoyment of a playground is relegated to the shade. This playground is accessible to most of midtown and the surroundi...

BeltLine 0 Mile Marker
Historical landmark
😐 Best place to park is in the parking lot for Lee + White. The trail here can be confusing because it’s disjointed and merges with another trail. But there were a lot less people than the east side BeltLine trail so walking was pleasant. There’s some murals along the trail. Enjoy y’all!

👍👍 Amazing cause making such a great impact across the globe. Was lucky enough to visit the HFHI team while in Atlanta from Sydney, Australia. Charlie Loudermilk Park

👍 Good park in heart of Buckhead. Looks like a small park but one good place to relax. A park with triangle shape surrounded by many buildings and roads with heavy traffic. If taking public transport, Marta route number 5 bus stops in front of this park.

😐 The building that houses the zero mile marker at 55 Lower Wall Street is under ground (ie. Below Upper Wall Street and basically under a Central Ave bridge) and is home to a large number of homeless. Best no to go at night. Visited Zero Mile location Feb. 8, 2019 and found the building had been rem...
