I love buying bagels from here to take home and eat with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and other fixings. What I have almost never done is ordered one of Kettlemans own sandwiches and dined in. So in order to try something new, me and my children decided to eat here, with the result that we found the food to be . . . just OK. While I will absolutely continue to buy Kettlemans bagels to take home, I think I will opt to make my own sandwiches, rather than eating here.

Bagel taste good but kitchen is slow. Good selection of fresh cream sheese and bagles. Nice spreads and lots of drinks. Big patio in downtown area. Busy in the evenings however so expect a small line up leading outside of the door.

I have been a regular at Kettlemans for years. I am from Montreal and it’s so great to get those same delicious bagels 365/24/7. The owner Craig and I are from the same hometown of LaSalle, in Montréal and had a few occasions chatting with him when I had some issues. What a gracious man. Great customer service focus. My favourite is the Kettlemans special (salmon lox on a toasted sesame bagel) and their pickles are so good. I always have some in the freezer for a quick lunch.

We tried a variety of menu items. The Reuben was our favourite (not pictured). Nice place to go if you don't have a long time to eat due to the quick service. They also have a patio area.

Closest word to describe it would be LOVE. Every bite is heavenly. It is as close to Montreal bagles as can be. They are even better in service, sitting. Only problem are the high prices. I am sadly willing to pay for LOVE. So glad they opened locations near TO. Will go there next for sure.

It's a blessing this place is open 24/7. It's not only a great breakfast, but also late night snack. I got the BLT bagel on cinnamon raisin, and my only displeasure was they cut the bagel weird so half of it fell apart in my hands, but taste-wise it was good and I loved all the mayo on it. My friends liked their salmon lox and roast meat bagels, but another friend said his tuna salad bagel was plain and the only flavour came from the tuna salad. Then we went to escapade and 8 hours later we came back for round 2. This time I just got the chicken and turkey soup bc I lost my voice, and the soup felt so good. I wish it came in a bigger size!

Very good bagels, quick service and large selection of sandwiches and drinks. Love how they use a wood-fired oven to cook their bagels and how they aren’t as big as American bagels but still soft and chewy on the inside. Great stuff and can highly recommend this establishment! I’m hoping to find them in Montréal, Quebec City and Mont-Tremblant when we travel there next.

They have big variety of hand-rolled Montréal bagels. I tried roast beef with pesto sauce I would prefer less sauce inside but the bagels was nice and fresh. Big sitting area. Open 24 hours.

Humming place, brisk business, attentive staff. I bought a dozen bagels, and the staff serving me put freezer bags into my packet without asking. Loved it

Bagels are fresh and made throughout the day. The ones here have a classic Montreal bite and chew but the toppings aren't very fragrant. I still find the Bagel Shop on Wellington to be better.

Really good quality bagels and sweets. Lots of options to choose from. Coffee not the best. Very good big patio for summer time. If you are a fan of bagel like me, totally recommend it.

Love the bagels but everything from sandwich’s, to literally everything else has gone down hill. Compare this to what you used to get a year ago and it’s saddening. This is the new kettlemans special, which doesn’t come with olives anymore as advertised! More onions than smoked salmon, with the 20 minute wait, it’s just not worth it anymore

Had the Rueben bagel sandwich and it was so yummy!! My daughter had a pizza bagel. I wish I would have ordered a dozen to go! Food is fresh and delicious. Busy busy place but worth the wait!

Great bagels, and atmosphere. Enjoyed what we ordered. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Ottawa area. If I had to point out one thing they could possibly do better, it would be having someone clean the outdoor dining tables. We showed up, no one was out there, and every table was covered in sesame seeds and whatever else falls off of the bagels. We cleaned our own table, sat and ate, and didn't see anyone on staff come out to wipe anything down. But like I said. Great spot, great products, great service. I would definitely recommend this place.

Open 24/7/365. You can always get a bagel if you desire one. Sometimes the bagels are a little too crispy for my liking and cut the roof of my mouth. However, there are lots of yummy options to choose from!! Vegetarians and meat lovers can both find something they love. The seating area is very well maintained and is a nice area to enjoy your bagel. Parking at this location is very, VERY limited but you can find free street parking in behind the Kettlemans.

The BEST bagels I’ve had so far ! Omg i cant describe how good they are , we order the turkey , roast beef , and veggie egg bagels , and honestly couldn’t get any better ! Highly recommended and the preparation station looks really clean

The bagels are great! It's quite an experience to see it being made in front of you. They have ample space for dining. The staff if friendly and have a smile on their face inspite of working near the stove and heat! Wishing you all the best 👍 will definitely be back.

Maybe I’m being a bit too harsh but I had higher expectations.. there was honestly nothing bad about it! The bagel was good and watching the process of bagels being made was cool, but the hype around this place kind of ruined it for me!

Wide varietyof bagels. Place has got some cool vibes. They prepare bagel from scratch. We ordered vegeterian bagel sandwich and bagel with creame cheese and coffee. No wait times which is usp of this place.

24 hrs / 7 days a week freshly wood oven baked, big line ups but worth the wait, friendly service , if you are visiting Ottawa , this is a must visit place in Ottawa

Good food, friendly staff- only issue not very accessible... please work on it. I used to go there with friends back in my university years almost 30 yrs ago... love the extension but needs to door that can open for wheelchairs and walkers

Great bagels and service. I would've given it a 5 star, but in the middle of eating my bagel over of the staff members was cleaning the table behind me and I noticed he was vigorously wiping the table with the cloth and some of the crumbs went flying my way. He didn't even apologize and he kept on vigorously cleaning that same table. Was very disappointed and ruined the dining experience 😥 The crazy thing is I bought 16 bagels to go and a Cubano bagal sandwich and tipped them ahead of time...hmmmmmmm.... Hopefully their other locations aren't like this. I would try their other locations next time 😔

Kettlemans is an institution in Ottawa. I've been going for over a decade, and everytime it's fantastic. Sesame bagel and cream cheese. Or a bacon and egg, or even just butter. They sell into Farm Boy, but honestly you need to go to the shop and get a sesame bagel that's still warm from the oven.

This is a great bagel joint! The flavours are the bomb. I got garlic and sesame with dill pickle cream cheese. That's life! Highly recommend! I wish we had one at home.

Great smoked meat sandwich. My son had the turkey and really liked it. Also got a dozen bagels for later. Always take a trip to Kettleman bagels when in town.

Disgusting sandwich that took almost 15 minutes to get. Photo menu board is a lie. Bagel wasn't warm even though it was toasted. Very disappointed

Kettlemans Bagels is an institution! 24/7 service - 365 days a year We tried a bunch of different bagels, some with toppings, some plain and they were all delicious! Must when in Ottawa! 🥯😋

We’ve been to Montreal and had bagels at a few of the top spots. This place rivaled any of those spots. I would say better!!! Amazing bagels. Great selection and very friendly staff!

First time trying and got the Kettlemans Special! Pretty good but thought it could have used more lox and a little less cream cheese. Nevertheless, would definitely eat again as it was tasty. Will for sure be back to have more bagels!

I am very disappointed with my order. I ordered a BLT bagel and small salad via Skip the Dishes. The sandwich was very messy and the bacon wasn’t cooked and the salad was mostly brown core and spines of the lettuce and didn’t come with any dressing. Previous sandwiches at lunch (2x) were very good, which makes me more disappointed and unlikely to order again any time soon.

The best bagels in ottawa here, what a great variety and good service! One of my fav places in the city, Blueberry bagel with cream cheese highly recommend option. The staff is also very kind and patient. The place cozy and warm.
