We decided to have breakfast here, and it truly brought us joy. We felt fantastic as the food was delicious, and the staff were warm and friendly. Despite their limited English proficiency, they managed to create a fantastic atmosphere. We paid 900 TL for our breakfast (for 3 people), which is roughly 10 € per person.

Lovely family run small restaurant. We came with a large group (10 people) and they prepared an incredibly great lunch with a variety of different food to chose from. The food was top quality. Service was perfect. Perfect for a local experience.

Nice place to eat. A bit hidden in the neighborhood. The owners are friendly people. We arrived late but they could still prepare a nice meal for us. We are thankful that we could find them.

Great homemade Turkish food! Helpful service, delicious plates and very cheap prices. We specially liked the lentil soup.

I'm rating this 5 stars only because I can't give 6 or even more. I came here late (app. 21:30 and the owner showed me what's left from the menu (it's good sign that food is freshly made and there's little waste of it). Food is delicious, genuine Turkish home taste, prices are very affordable and the owners are very helpful and kind, it's family business and restautant that I will definitely come back to very often. The menu has no prices in it but don't be afraid, they're not scammers like a lot of restaurants near to touristy stuff, prices related to other restaurants are practically the same. One more time - 11/10, best food in Istanbul!

Beautiful family run restaurant. Despite the language barrier they were more than welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious and truly home cooked. Would highly recommend.

Updated: I edited my review because of the owner's response to be more fair. I live around and when I saw the reviews for this place I thought let's give it try. But I was disappointed. The main food was ok but you could barely find pieces of chicken in it, soup wasn't fresh and it was tasteless. In general, considering the location and the quality of the food it was rather expensive. The owners were nice people though.
