I stayed for one night here after transferred from Volley International 4 star hotel which has brilliant service and good value for money, I was charged double the price here at Holiday Inn for 92 usd for a night and no breakfast included and noisy, Room is too small but very clean, I personally don’t recommend

Overall OK. BUT be aware they tried to charge for my stay TWICE and housekeepers STOLE my MONEY!!! Istanbul is a great city, the place was clean but very disappointed with the stolen money.

This is an okay hotel. Nice rooms but we had a big flooding issue in the bathroom every time we used the shower. Complained but it couldn't be resolved. They served the exact same plate for breakfast for 8 days when I was there (you get sick of it - I would suggest they switch it up). Only one person there spoke English so had a very hard time communicating with hotel staff. Overall it is a clean but small hotel. Would recommend it if you are NOT spending time in your hotel. The area around is not that entertaining.

The staff are really warm welcoming and supportive people. The hotel has decent quality and the rooms are clean. The price for a standard room is acceptable. The location is not bad, there is an instant access to metro with just 10 minutes walking distance but for reaching to city centre, 3 lines should be changed. However, you could reach to city centre with taxi in just 10 minutes.

Will add details later. Room phone doesn't work to call housekeeping or front desk. Told many times and simply got ignored. I'm tired of going downstairs for every single thing. Roomkeeping doesn't leave TP, water, etc. unless asked for. If you don't state or hang a tag, rooms won't be claned. Awful AF after staying many IHG hotels around the world. As an IHG diamond platinum member, this one fell way below our expectations. Hotel staff needs to be trained better in many ways. Breakfast was OK. Water pressure was strong. AC/Heater doesn't work at all. Had to warm up the room with having to waste how water from the shower. Would definitely have been a more pleasant stay if we had chosen a cheaper hotel. I felt we stayed in a hostel after going downstairs. god knows how many times for EVERY SINGLE little thing. This is not setting a good example to the famous Turkish hospitality. Sad but true..

*** Perfect staff, perfect rates, perfect stay *** So I was visiting Istanbul and decided to stay here for 2 days. The hospitality was so good, I extended my stay for 6 days in total! Bilge Gurel from the front office helped us out throughout. From ensuring our room gets ready swiftly to laundry services, everything was brilliant. Big thanks to Bilge! Very neat and clean rooms. On time housekeeping services. Fresh breakfast served everyday. I genuinely felt like I was staying at home. To the entire Holiday Inn Express Istanbul Altunizade staff, thank you for making my stay memorable! Next time I’m back in Istanbul, I already know where I’m staying!

I am a student and I stayed two nights in the hotel, last night I wanted to go to Istanbul Airport, I called the reception to get a taxi, the receptionist asked me 550 TL just to go to Istanbul Airport!!!!!! , and I went to the taxi stand and said 350 TL, so the receptionist wanted to defraud me 👎🏻👎🏻 This is not worthy of you unfortunately

I don’t know how this hotel made it to the IHG list. Would never book again

The hôtel is clean, the room this very good, but the breakfast is not what i expected.

Great place to stay for a Istanbul tour. Closer to metro and bus stop. So convenient in public transport. You can only have breakfast from here. You may have to bring your own convertible wall plug points as they have circle shaped wall points. Overall good place for a staying.

The place is ideally accessible for public transportation and center for shopping. My personal experience was, I left my room in a rush since I had to move to some other place and forgotten some personal staffs of mine in the room. After a while I remembered I also fogot some valuable equipments and 2 days latter went to the hotel to ask. But, they said they hadn't got those kind of things. My comment is that they (including the cleaners) should have kept them for a minimum of 5 days.

I, being an IHG worker, didn’t get the service that fits the hotel’s fame. I stayed two nights but some workers didn’t even smile. Actually, in IHG hotels, the most essential thing is smiling face but i am so sorry that i couldn’t see that. The set up paper cup in the rooms is also funny, i think. Cleaning is not so bad but i’m not in the same opinion for the breakfast. good luck, have nice and happy working days…

I complained about the AC and we are in August that its too hot and they said its working fine for 2 weeks in the same room with no proper AC after that asked to change the room and shocked that the AC is working fine. Why the employee not change my room from the beginning !!!!!!!!!

the AC in our room didn’t work at all and the room was damp and air was stale. However the staff was really good and helpful.
