I had breakfast here. It has a traditional decor and this restaurant is famous in the city of Van. I found this place on tripadvisor. The price of breakfast was 6 USD per person.

I've been living in Turkey for 3 years and this is definitely the worst breakfast that I had. The bread was dry and not fresh. They didn't give french fries, sucuk, honey.... Just what you guys can see on the picture. Staff were nice though but I won't repeat for sure

I have always wanted to eat Van’s traditional breakfast 🍳 It was nice, but the portions were small, and tea was not hot enough. The place should be heated more, its a little cold. The staff was so kind. The manager chats everyone and tells stories and gives small gifts. The price was reasonable.

Yummy! 😋😍 Most of the food are made by themselves such as "kavut", "murtuğa", "kaymak", walnut jam, Van's famous "otlu peynir" (aka herby cheese), butter, rose jam and many more. The owner, Yusuf Konak, is a wonderful host and the staff is friendly 😊 He even gave us 3 pairs of earrings as a gift. They also sell some of the food if you'd like to take them home. P.S. Btw we paid 50 TLs each for the breakfast. ✌️

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Assumed I wanted a soda when I didn't ask for one... maybe because I am American?? Never figured it out because they don't speak english and I don't speak Turkish. The breakfast was huge and delicious, with lots of tasty cheeses and honeys.

Yusuf bey, you are sweet but you talk too much really. Leave it at when it is nice and sweet. Good food, ok service. Tea not good. Some oortions are too small (feta cheese etc) Our young bus boy Rosat saved the day for us with respect to service! Welldone Rosat!
