Has the potential to be a great spot, the product is pretty good albeit a touch expensive but the service is sorely lacking. Slow at the best of times, non-existent at the worst. Too long to be greeted at the door, too long to be sat down, too long to have your order taken and then you’ve got to pray they don’t forget something from your order. The staff are either running around like headless chickens or chatting idly to one another. Just wish my local was better. Such a shame.

Great food, beautiful raw juices, and excellent tea & coffee in a stunning location (across the road from Mission Bay). Extremely busy, so it pays to reserve a table. Outside tables are dog-friendly. 🐾

A cafe with a really nice ambience! Had coffee with family! Really warm place with friendly staff who actually help you to choose according to your dietary requirements! They have amazing Kumra wedges as well! Would highly recommend and I would go here any day!

Stopped in here tonight as we were walking by. Atmosphere was lovely especially sitting outside on a warm night. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was nice but not really to my taste. Probably more suitable for a more educated pallet. My wife enjoyed her meal very much.

We're there for our introduction to the Lansdowne Farm beef and it was such a good sirloin, couldn't have been cooked any better. The Spanish and Portuguese red wines are also great to have with the steak. Good service, cozy atmosphere. We will be back!!

I haven’t been here in bloody years but it’s as good as it ever was. Had a beautiful bottle of wine and shared some lunch dishes. Fresh, perfectly cooked chicken and tasty fries. Noting overly complicated just a good time. Great for a tasty lunch by the beach. A lot of places in Auckland are overrated, but this is the best lunch I have had in ages. Get amongst it!

We dropped in for a takeaway coffee at about 9am. We spotted an almond croissant and ordered that too. The coffee was great but… the croissant was dry and tasted stale. It was also $9.50, which seems excessive even for Kohi. Is it possible the croissant was fresh? Yes but not sure how it got that dry as it was not overcooked. Really disappointing

Very good good food and service. Just had midweek lunch with a group of ten. Excellent food. Reasonable price. Service was prompt. coffee could have been hotter. Will certainly return. Very enjoyable.

Came here Sunday morning 30 July 2023, around 11.30ish. Good place, good vibes, good weather, nice and friendly staff prepare our table. It is busy day but there are some empty table available too. We waiting for half an hour for food and checking with the waitress, the waitress went to kitchen and we could see the chef is forget and missing our order. Send the waitress mentioned the food is still 15 minutes. Which we could see as the kitchen is open kitchen. The chef is panicking and forget our order. Very nice service chef! Proud of you!

Dropped by to get some little snacks. The best butter I’ve tasted so far! had house salted caramel hot chocolate as well, looked interesting but the taste was similar to other hot chocolates and a bit pricey tbh staff was very friendly and the view was amazing

Hi there, I just wanted to say great big thank you to Kiel for his outstanding service at Kohi Beach cafe on Tuesday 24th October. We are a regular yoga group that come for coffee around 11am every Tuesday. Kiel went out of his way to rearrange all the tables to accommodate around 10 of us, and made sure we were all comfortable and happy. Our order was absolutely correct in every way, and he was very personable and chatty to us all. Thank you Kiel for your excellent service and sense of humour.

I wanted some brunch food to feed my visitors post-wedding. The team at Kohi Beach Eatery were awesome and via pre-order I arranged some pastries, ham & cheeses croissants and granola pots - the food was the delicious and it was ready for pick-up as planned. The customer service by the Kohi Beach Store was fabulous and they even put a lovely message on the top of the box for us. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service. Went for icecream. Wonderful flavours. Because of great friendly service I also brought take home pack. I had espresso and lemon yogart. Surprisingly good together. 2nd visit was cafe side. Food delicious. I loved the pancakes. Usually don't like pears but these pears where beautiful. Definitely eating there again

I've passed the place a few times but normally after having a meal so I haven't tried many of their items. We had takeaways and I got an almond croissant and a donut. The croissant was actually quite nice. Nice flakiness and a really tasty almond filling. The donut was ok but the icing looked like it was running a bit. Edit: Came by for some snacks and hot chocolate and was nice. They had a salted caramel hot chocolate.

Perfect location across the street from the beach and a great selection of goodies. Always have a matcha latte with oat milk 🥰

Our go to place for coffee every weekend. Honestly it's the only place in Auckland that makes decent and delicious coffee. We travel from the complete opposite side of town every weekend just to come sit and enjoy the coffee and views. We haven't eaten here yet but every time food comes out it looks delicious. We love coffee and know a decent coffee when we taste it. These guys make the best coffee in Auckland it's why we are regulars

Recommended the place here and had brunch with my friend today. The view and weather was beautiful. My friend had eggs Benedict which was great. But for the Avocado on toast, it’s so hard to bite and sour for the mashed avocado. even the egg I asked scrambled, it was still poached when it came. When it came again, it was like fried. I bite a piece and do not want to start the second bite. Because it was so hard and Knife even cannot cut the toast. Let the staff took my dish and tell him it’s not okay. He just took the dish and has said nothing . I paid the full bill when I leave. But no one mentioned that and felt depressed.

Came for brunch, a fabulous location, great service, good coffee and food overall was okay. Eggs Benedict - delicious, good hollandaise sauce and yolk was runny. Fisher man's catch - felt very little love went into this dish, it was okay. Tiramisu - the desert on the menu was not avaliable and was offered tiramisu. Not sure why they put strawberry cream? with it, HUGE NO NO...

Really enjoyed my outing last night. The friendly mixologist came up with a delicious cocktail, the food was superb and the young lady who looked after us couldn't have been more obliging and attentive. Nice cozy atmosphere, just perfect for a mid week dinner.

Excellent Vista, great food and wine. Service was a little slow, but I am putting that down to available staff being too light. The scenery certainly makes up for it. The food was presented well and tasted superb, well worth the bill at the end. We will be back.
