This is my absolute most favorite spot in all of Istanbul. This is a local bar with very creative, unusual, and delicious mixed drinks. There’s also beer and a very extensive selection of whiskey. They serve simple but excellent food. The place is always pretty busy, but the guys who work there always manage to find a table for you and move you to a better spot later if you wish. By the way, the employees are amazingly friendly and welcoming. The bartender is an expert mixologist. I just can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The cocktails here are the bomb! Beers is served super cold which is a must. Fries are great as well. Go here for drinkssss!!❤️‍🔥

Skip everything else in this neighborhood and come here. Great later night vibes, good food and drinks. Friendly and attentive service. Order the Hissikablelvuku cocktail. Would definitely come back!

Good location and a small but lovely place on a crowd lively area of Istanbul! Got some gins and small dinner! They also offered shots on the house ✅

Cool place, though there's hardly any outdoor space, so we had to spend an hour in the very cramped upstairs before getting a table outside. Still, the waiter was nice and helpful, and the food/drinks were good.

I genuinely enjoyed this bar. They have great vegetarian options. It’s very small, and it has a cozy feeling. The crowd is chill and unassuming. The waiter was so cute and nice, and my food was delicious. Prices are a bit high for Istanbul, but still reasonable. You have to try the Fried cauliflower balls, the sauce on them is creamy and spicy, has a good umami factor, and you get a huge portion. Lastly, the texture is good. Crispy outside. I also had the shrimp bao bun and I enjoyed it. The bread was fluffy and had a delicate flavor. The sauce was a bit overwhelming and did have a tiny aftertaste, but the dish was still yummy. The mushroom bao bun was the best. I had another bao bun that I can’t remember, pork or something, but the sauce was overly sweet without much character, I don’t recommend it. The crème brûlée was divine, the overall mix of creamy and salty and sweet was excellent. I wish they had used a tiny bit less salt, so I just shook it off. I just sat there with my book and read, I had some of their whiskey, they have a really good selection. I can’t say enough about this place, I highly recommend it.💕💕💕💕

Great bar with a really chill vibe, friendly waiters and lots of food options. Unfortunately they don't have non-alcoholic beer options but can't really blame them for that 😅

A great spot to sit on a pleasant bustling street. They offer a nice selection of signature cocktails at an average price (for the Nişantaşı area). The food is of excellent quality, ranging from simple appetizers to their sushi rolls. Additionally, I really liked their designer solution with cute paper flowers on the tables:)

Cozy bistro/pub in Tesvikiye, with plant-based dish options. The staff is always helpful and kind. The vibe is pretty cool, gets very crowded on weekends, so call and check for tables beforehand.

Socrates definitely makes the highest quality cocktails in Nişantaşı and amongst the best in Şişli. Sophisticated and complex drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. One of my personal top three bars in İstanbul.

An amazing place with great cocktails, yummy food and friendly staff. Went there for two evenings in a row and did not regret it. Can recommend bao with shrimp, bao with chicken, mac'n'cheese, mushroom taco. Salmon pasta we had also tastes good, but nothing too special. I also had a set of mini-burgers. They were tasty, but I'd recommend you to grab a normal sized one instead as a dough-to-meat ratio is better there. With cocktails you can't really go wrong, we had 6 different ones and each one of them was delish 😍
