Once the cablecar is installed it will be great. Apart from that the climb of stairs is not worth the nothing thats up there. The view is good. If your fit try it out

There is not much to see in the castle itself - only remains of cisterns and some rooms, but the view is definitely worth the climb.

I didn't visit the castle. It was hard to find the route up. Thought the city was very nice, especially the old buildings belom the castle.

It's a little challenging to climb and if you will, you should probably bring your lunch with you and some sort of heater or something to keep you hot. It is freezing up there but the view is astounding, you can see the clouds on eye level or even lower than you, In conclusion it's a worth the walk but you need to bring a lunch and some way to keep you warm

Climbing to the top of the castle is very tiring but the view from the top is very beautiful and there is a tea seller and some snacks upstairs

An easy accessible trail took 20 minutes to reach to top. It is a must place to visit if you are a traveller at Afyon city

There is much traffic, which might make you feel uncomfortable. The castle is on a huge mountain and there is no way but to climb it on your own. I would recommend it for people, who are sportive and want to explore many places :).

This 3500 year+ national treasure is just left by itself… there isn’t even a rubbish bin which left the whole place covered in plastic bottles and trash… If there had been a simple cafeteria the revenue of which would clearly payout the cleaning up and maintaining from point on…Other than that, good for The Town to build comfortable stairs to the castle, however, if you want to climb the very last pitch leading to the very peak you need to climb the ancient stairs which are carved into the rock… wish the modern stairway led to the very peak. Overall this can be a great “fat burning” trip with your family..

A wonderful place to watch all Afyon city from top . It’s an ancient place so good for you if you love history . It will be windy all day so take warm clothes in all time . Take some water with yourself or some snack and sweets you want . (Please please take your rubbish back). You need suitable shoes to climb it’s all steps so it’s not hard but it’s very sharp climb so take your time and go slowly . It would be fun if you go as a group of friends as you need help to take photos. It takes 40-45 minutes up and 20 minutes down . So you need 3 hours time at least . Before sunset and sunrise is best time to enjoy the scenery.

Stunning views from the top. About 20-30 min hike. Easy for kids. Wide steps all the way. Occasional places has no side support but wide enough if supported

It was tired to climb to the top of the Castle. However the view from the top was very wonderful .

There's nothing interesting up there. Except for the view of the city from above. I wouldn't recommend going up. No fees
