This
stay
was
back
in
Aug
2021.
The
only
positives
were
the
cleaning
staff
who
were
very
warm
and
welcoming.
That’s
all.
The
pool
was
barely
1.75m
with
broken
edges
which
posed
a
hazard
to
many
small
children,
and
we
weren’t
given
half
the
services
promised
by
the
hotel
such
as
a
clean
room
or
a
decent
view
of
the
beach.
The
reception
staff
were
despicable.
We
had
been
assured
that
a
later
check
out
was
possible
with
extra
payment,
but
on
the
day
we
came
back
to
the
hotel
with
our
rooms
locked
and
all
our
property
locked
inside.
The
staff
refused
to
open
the
doors
for
an
hour,
then
tried
to
blackmail
us
and
ask
for
money.
One
member
gave
us
a
“5
minute”
time
limit
to
finish
packing
and
leave
the
hotel
despite
it
being
3
hours
prior
to
our
agreed
check
out
time.
They
kicked
us
out
of
our
rooms
despite
us
telling
them
beforehand
about
our
late
check-
out
and
then
still
expected
us
to
pay
£30
extra
for
‘troubling’
them.
They
also
tried
stealing
our
money
from
our
room.
On
two
separate
occasions
we
came
back
to
our
suitcases
and
safe
(hotel
owned)
opened
and
searched.
We
were
told
they
couldn’t
get
access
to
the
rooms
without
our
key,
but
obviously
disproved
this
by
barging
in
at
9am
everyday
to
clean.
When
we
pointed
this
out,
they
said
“you
can
leave
the
hotel
but
you
wont
get
a
refund
or
access
to
your
things
in
the
safe.”
Also,
the
restaurant
served
a
very
limited
and
bland
range
of
food.
There
was
no
seasoning
in
the
food,
not
even
salt.
The
restaurant
was
always
empty
and
room
service
was
not
given
to
us
as
asked
for
the
entire
first
week
of
our
stay.
The
staff
demanded
we
have
to
go
down
to
the
restaurant
if
we
wanted
food.
We
had
to
pay
extra
money
afterwards
when
my
daughter
was
sick
for
them
to
bring
room
service.
Another
let
down
was
in
the
form
of
the
‘kettle
incident’.
We
were
promised
tea
and
coffee
making
facilities
prior
to
our
stay
and
during
our
check
in.
We
noticed
a
kettle
in
our
room
but
no
sugar,
tea
or
coffee.
The
kettle
upon
inspection
had
old
mould
and
was
clearly
left
unwashed
from
its
past
use.
We
requested
a
change
in
kettle
and
we’re
told
we
shouldn’t
have
“stolen
one
from
the
restaurant”.
We
politely
explained
we
had
only
just
arrived
at
the
hotel
moments
ago
and
had
found
it
in
the
hotel
room
but
the
member
of
staff
was
rude
and
dismissive
and
tried
to
add
a
charge
for
it.
It
was
a
difficult
stay
and
one
we
will
not
repeat.
The
absolute
worst
stay
of
my
life.
I
cannot
believe
a
hotel
would
actually
kick
their
paying
customers
out
and
accuse
them
of
stealing,
charge
extra
for
basic
services
like
room
service
and
expect
customers
to
accept
their
behaviour.
This
run
down
hotel
is
definitely
NOT
worthy
of
4*
nor
is
it
close
to
a
3
star
establishment.
There
was
only
one
restaurant
staff
member,
a
lifeguard
and
two
cleaners
in
the
entire
hotel
who
were
actually
warm
and
welcoming.
