This place is really something, it feels like u are back in the 80’s! The views of the ocean are beyond! The restaurant is quality and reasonable prices! The buildings are old and look not up to maintanance.. ( the pool is very clean ) Breakfast is nothing like the restaurant and is bad even! The staff is friendly! U just need to feel the place, i think you like it or you do not like it! For me it was a wonderfull stay!

The hotel is located on the coastal road about a 10 minute drive from the old quarter of Ajaccio. Our hotel room was at beach level, with only a low wall protecting against the waves! The room was clean and the bed was comfy, but the Wi-Fi was nonexistent inside and only worked in the hotel bar area. There are lots of restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk of the hotel offering a wide choice of cuisine. Great views of the îles Sanguinaires from the pool, terrace and little beach in front of the hotel.

Wonderful family owned hotel with exquisite views of the sea and the Sanguinary islands. As the hotel is directly on the water (some hotels will advertise being waterfront, but in fact they’re separated by a road) ocean facing rooms look over the water. The rooms aren’t incredibly huge, but have been recently remodeled and all have AC. The Stella di Mare has a shaded pool side bar with reasonably priced cocktails and a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For dinner be sure to reserve a table by the sea wall to get great sunset views. Besides the pool other amenities include a gym (not bad for a small hotel gym!), kayak and SUP rental, and its own private beach. Finally the staff, the staff may be the best feature of the Stella di Mare. They were all extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great visit, next time I’m in Ajaccio I will certainly stay at the Stella di Mare!

Amazing place! The room was nice, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the pool, the private beach, the view...!!! Will definitely be back!

they don't like visiting from foreign countries, they don't treat them like their own...don't have own beach...don't recommend, never again!!

We booked the hotel the same day for one night. Unfortunately, once I called, the reception girl doesn't speak neither English or Italian. But we managed to book thanks to French speaking guys at the next table at the restaraunt. The room was great-the beach finished just right at our room,sooo beautiful and you can listen to the waves. The restaraunt at the hotel was very very good. Breakfast was vast and sufficient.

In relation to being beach side with a gorgeous view ... then yes ! Stella di mare is beautiful but in relation to professionalism and staff I have never been more dissapointed and will not recommend this hotel . The chef and management treated myself with so much disrespect and rudeness when I was being seated for dinner I left . I also was shocked that when I brought it up to the manager at the front desk there was no compassion or professionalism especially when I explained the chef was being agressive and rude. He actually stood up for the staff that was very verbally rude . After this incident my partner complained but they just turned around and said it was a language barrier ? ( I am English and my boyfriend is French - so no barrier - There rudeness was very clear ) We had dinner at another venue and left promptly the next morning . I am a well educated, well traveled, professional woman and I have never been at a hotel that treats it’s paying customers like this. So again - will not recommend this place and they deserve less stars for the way they treat women.

Nice location with private beach, good food, definitely again

The BEST apartman during my stay in Corse ! I loved it! I slept under the stars & the Milky Way on my Terrace (10 meters from the sea!) LOVE IT !!!
