it was the worst experience of my life. Usually I never leave a comment, but this time I have to inform future guests about this hotel. 1) The staff at the reception was aggressive 2) the hotel is dirty and full of cockroaches 3) the rooms are full of cockroaches and the bed full of ticks. 4) there is a disco on the ground floor, the music is very loud until 3 am. 5) the cleaning is never done. 6) there was work done on the floor where I was, I was intoxicated by the toxic fumes of the paint. Conclusion, I arrived in this hotel in good health, and I left with an asthma attack because of the toxic fumes, and multiple tick bites all over my body. Moreover, I did not feel safe, the staff was very aggressive. My advice, DON'T GO!!!!!!!!

I have been lodging in many hotels for quite long now but Royalton is the worst hotel I’ve ever come across in my entire life 1. Very rude receptionist and poor customer service. 2. Bad attitude and u can’t feel comfort been in environment. 3. I moved in to my room and there was no AC and I complained to them thinking they are coming to rectify but to my greatest surprise no body came to fixed untill I checked out of the room again to find another hotel to stay . I will never encourage even my enemy to go to that hotel😡. If you really want a comfort place to be then Royalton hotel is not for you. Don’t go there !!!!!!

The reception was friendly, but they need to pay attention on cleanliness and should respect guests; the room i stayed was so cold as there was no way to control the AC (the wall control was not working). The bed stinks.. And the blanket and towels were not fresh.. There were hair on the towels and the blanket was obviously unwashed from the previous guest who may have used it.. The staff were noisy outside the room. At night the club downstairs was loud.. I didn't sleep well at all..

Good location,calm area,advise for bachelor only(this is from my point of view) hotel meal are very affordable and tasty.Room are clean but little small also bathroom.Soap,shampoo and towels available.Fridge is big,Tv available.No card access regular key.No coffe kettle.

Literally the worst staff and humiliating experience at Royalton Hotel They dont deserve to run a hotel, its a disgrace to the hospitality sector in Dubai Their rules and policies are all against the laws, such as keeping Emirates ID and Passport without the consent of the guest, if you don’t allow to keep your passport they ask for additional 100 AED When asked where are terms and conditions the hotel manager and staff is clueless Pathetic and worst hotel staff ever came across in Dubai

The costomer service is very bad. And behaviour of their security I get an incident in last week. When I talk to the receptionist they saying leave it that. That his attitude.

It's very poor service and night shift manager is don't know how to behave customer. Very bad experience and never recommend to any one royalton hotel diera.

Not very clean also the woman in reception is very annoying but rather than this the hotel is good . I hope to pay more attention for cleaning services

A very bad hotel bad word is very little on them blanket was burnt smell was there in the hotel and inside the room as well u can’t even take shower because there’s no water… I recommend that never go there never ever

The room was decent, and so is the service. Wifi is slow though, and the room was cooled with a ceiling fan, not AC, at least the one I stayed in on the 3rd floor. The location is great though, as it's less than 10 minutes walking distance from Union Metro Station and 5 minutes from Al Ghurair Mall. If you lower your expectations, this hotel will serve as a time capsule of the late 90s and early 2000s, probably its heyday. Its not great, but not bad either.

The room is nice and clean but they have no slippers in the washroom though the washroom is clean too but we need slippers there. The bedsheets are super clean but the foam is not very soft, the receptionists are nice and the location is just perfect, 2 mins walk from union metro station. Oh there was no drinking water in the room so if u are going there u go with your own water🤦🏽‍♂️

One of worst hotel I have ever stayed.... No basic amenities of AC,wifi ,no lift service.Too much of bed bugs found in hotel rooms ,and wardrobes... No hospitality etiquettes found in the hotel staff especially the Receptional staffs. Worst part is that, your Passport to be handed over to them until you check out. There is night dance bar nuisance at the hotel ground floor premises.. So kindly family and couples BEWARE !!!!!!!

Verry bad sevice. I am currently staying Royalton hotel. I check in last night. When i check in they didn't say anything they took money from me. When i ask till what time they said until next day 6.00 pm. But 12 clock maneger was calling me and he showtin to me you have to check out 1.00 clock. I already pay extra money. They will not give my extra money back also. Really hate this staff and this hotel rules. This is not my 1st time. When i talk with maneger he has not respect to the guest. Verry bad sevice and 100% Fraud.

Nice Room. The only thing which was lacking is slippers. Cleanliness was good and overall nice in budget.

Hotel was better than expected, being one of the lowest cost hotels available at the time for AED 250/- Room 401 doesn't get the sounds of the club, so it is good, but you will hear the elevators go up and down noisily. Requested the receptionist to get it fixed before something gives way. The receptionist Mr. Habib is very helpful and always smiling and accomodative. He let me check-in earlier than stipulated which helped after a ling flight.

Currently I am leaving in this Hotel and they Kept my Passport which is totally illegal And said take it afterwards. When I went to take my Passport, they said once you checkout will give you. No room service, No Water bottle available in the room, no Sleeper, No Kitly, coffee and Tea Pouch nothing is available. Would request don't book this hotel even of its your last choice.

Very Ordinary Reception man staff is very rude Don’t have AC Control, no stopper on the door TV was not working And having a trouble to connect WiFi in IPhone. Mainly they will block your passport during your stay period .... Really ! That was pathetic 👎

It'd cozy and quiet. Just what you'll expect from a 2 star property but they barely answer the phone at the reception. I like that they respect privacy and keep things simple with the guest. No drama having a visitor.

Room was dirty. Washroom wasn’t clean there was someone else’s old dirty washcloth still hanging in the shower. Floor was beyond filthy. Ashes from previous guest still on nightstand I believe the only thing they did in the room was make the bed and put fresh towels in. And bad attitude of staff .

Bad staff,room Ac has no controllers, zero housekeeping not worth the price guy's.

A beautiful modern building that manages to feel as though it has stood there for hundreds of years. Amazing architecture and glorious stained glass. Perfect to have a quiet while to spend with your thoughts. A lovely cafe, although we didn't go in, it looked good and the food smelt amazing. Well worth a visit, and right next to the bombed remains if the old cathedral. Also well worth a visit.

Very ugly hotel. Air conditioner not working probably rooms are not clean ugly smell coming on bathroom not cleaned towels also not washed. There is party on first so can’t sleep in whole night. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I do not recommend visiting it, the staff is not good, its cleanliness is bad, it asks for double the amount on the site, and the customers are forced to pay an amount upon checkout for petty reasons *like* the room or the sheets are not clean, and this is their duty to do so. I do not recommend visiting it at all.

I leave with a bad taste in my mouth of this hotel, after having paid for a week and a half at this place we received a bad payment from a impolite girl. We were insulted by a unmannerly and rude girl of the staff, my husband and I were treated as if we were begging for alms for the simple fact that we wanted to play villar and the girl did not want us to be there because supposedly they were closing although after the incident there were still people drinking beers and she comeback to the bar to continue playing villar with customers. The manager of the night shift was quite nice to us and knew how to handle the situation, but people like that woman simply do not contribute anything positive to the company should be quick out or you should put her at the back of somewhere else where she has no contact with customers, because she clearly does not know nothing about customer service, she lacked a little more training. Regarding the rest of the staff I can say that it was NOT the best service in the world but (especially the girl at the reception on shift of the day, terrible service) at least they were never disrespectful. Regarding the rooms, well... you get what you pay for.
