I have found myself extending my stay several times now in this lovely hotel. The lobby area is elegant and spotless. The rooms are large with an equally impressive bathroom. Wifi in rooms could be improved and some furniture was just a little tired and needs refreshing. Staff have been wonderful and helpful. My dining experience here has been limited to the breakfast buffet which sets me up for an entire day of exploring and walking. I recommend this place.

beds are hard, if you want to sleep badly, this is the hotel!! the duvet, I'm not talking about the duvet cover, the duvet smelling of sweat, the extremely bad buffet, little food and the breakfast could be even worse, we paid for full boarding and regretted it! I travel every month to at least 2 different places and this was the worst hotel to date. Positive points are: good smelling hotel, very kind staff.

We went to celebrate birthday of our youngest daughter and to try out their oriental buffet. It would be very wrong if I only speck about the food as what really touched me was how humble, down to earth and friendly the whole staff was. From guy at the reception to the Chef and servers. The restaurant manager was so nice and cooperative, they really made our day more special. I recommend everyone to visit and experience what we did. 100% customer satisfaction with great ambience and delicious food.

Welcome to the CLOWN Plaza 🤡 Oh man…this was one awful circus experience! First I couldn’t sleep properly because the pillows are hard and since they turn down the AC late in the night to safe on energy 🤡 at your expense! Then, I wake up to the godforsaken breakfast hall. Guess what, at the 9 o’clock half of the servings are empty! even the freaking whole wheat bread is out, pastries are rock hard, no water bottles dare you ask for one and you shall not receive. Even the coffee machine was behind the counter so they get to limit you to a tiny cup. And they dare to ask you for a 5-star rating 😂 Don’t waste your time and money on this mediocre place.

Probably the worst IHG hotel you will stay at. 1- the rooms are quite old, the first room i got was so bad, thermostat isn’t working. You freeze to death. I changed it after 3 days. 2- the restaurant options are very limited, just fine 3- the access control cards are the worst, you have to go back everytime to the reception to get new one. As if it is single use. 4- i had an issue with the internet in my room as well as the phone isn’t working. And no one seem to care. 5-Housekeeping is not so well, they have to put shower gel and all stuff without having to call them and ask for it. The only reason i am putting 2 stars because I know IHG cares, I regularly stay at IHG. But this one i am not sure it is up to IHG standards. and I hope this is taken as constructive feedback. My stay is for more than 10 days. This place is a ideal place to book into whether you are on a business trip or a family vacation. 1.Rooms are pretty spacious and cosy. Housekeeping is done every day without fail. The rooms are pretty well equipped with wifi connection, tea, laundry services and much more. 2. The facility encompasses a well equipped fitness centre and swiming pool with a trainer. Other amenities like ping pong tables, sauna etc are available 3. The hotel caters to a really wide range of cuisines with 2-3 restaurants within its premises. Sea food & Moroccan cuisine being the most sought after here. The unlimited breakfast menu is mostly a well diverse spread. 4. The facility provides an expansive parking area to all guests. 5. Security within the premises is pretty tight thus making it ideal if you are travelling with family and kids. 6. The employees here are very polite and very helpful. Assistance of any kind is available 24 by 7

Great hotel in a central, safe location. Room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful. Two small suggestions. USB charging ports in rooms for international travelers would be helpful, and a simple coat of paint on the trellis in the pool area would brighten it up and give the pool a more polished feel. It currently feels a little neglected, but is such a great asset to the property and is such a simple fix. Overall a great stay, and well maintained hotel.

I booked this hotel as quarantine accommodation for my wife and family. They sent a taxi to the airport without a child seat and my wife was told to just hold the one year old on her lap. She refused and the driver told her to come in the taxi or stay in the airport. This was at 5am with two children. She was also supposed to share the taxi with a stranger. So much for social distancing. There wasn't even enough room for the luggage. My wife rang me up and I came to the airport to collect them and take them to the hotel, even though this is against the rules. The food at the hotel is far from what you would expect from a five star hotel and is more consistent with a two or three star hotel. My wife has to keep sending the food back and the staff don't even seem aware how many people are in the room. They keep bringing one or two portions instead of three. I've no idea how this hotel got a five star rating. This evening I ordered some food from an outside restaurant and even though my wife rang reception to warn them a delivery was coming the food still sat at reception for more than an hour. My advice is to avoid this hotel. The service and food is poor and they seem particularly unprepared for international guests and for guests who are in quarantine.

I didn’t like my stay as the rooms are spacious but old, location is good and the service is good. Parking is limited. The pool is depressing. Overall not to be repeated. The view is ugly from my room.

Rooms are old but kept well. Room service and housekeeping are too slow! We paid for lounge access but lounge is locked for maintenance and they cannot provide any alternatives despite the fact that they have other coffee shops. Receptionists failed to provide any help on this regard. Gym and swimming pool seem to be just fine. Jacuzzi, steam room, and some showers need more maintenence attention. Nevertheless, there is a gentle man works at the gym called Mr. Faisal. He is so responsible and dedicated to his job. He really makes your day. Five stars to Mr. Faisal.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff and lovely food. Rooms are very spacious and kept so clean. Housekeeping staff top class especially Karthick who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Definitely would love to return some day to experience it again.

Being an IHG platinum member has given me a room upgrade, breakfast and late checkout. The room was beautiful and quite big! Breakfast was really good with a lot of variation and Prem is a server who was very attentive to my needs and got me everything I asked for. I loved the full experience of staying here

Very good rooms. Excellent service. They upgraded my room, and the room I got was just amazing. Good ambience. I would say the buffet breakfast could be better served. Somehow I felt it was understaffed. Might be because I went there during peak hours. This is not a place where you can have your breakfast quickly. So plan your time accordingly.

My husband and I went to this hotel’s Suhoor Buffet a few days ago. The food was very good and there were many selections. One waiter really stood out to us, Azad. Azad was very quick to take care of our needs and was very attentive to us throughout our meal. Azad tried his best to cater to us and we were very delighted with his service. We will definitely come again!

Best Hotel experience we've had for years. The duty manager, Mr. Abdullah took heart-warming efforts in welcoming our family - making us feel we are at home. All of the staffs we met were friendly and helpful. Personally, I have had many hotel experiences in Kingdom and this hotel is exceptional in terms of hospitality and service. Also, kudos to Felip for the help with some minor issues. I would definitely return here and recommend this hotel to friends. If I could I would rate this hotel a 10-star. :)

Ive stayed here many times, its starting to show its age, but the service is good. The buffet is expensive and the food varies widely with quality and choice, one day its good and then the next, the chicken, beef and lamb are dry and very tough. Overall a good value, but still recommended checking out others in AlKhobar

Very unlike a Crown Plaza. Coffee shop is unattended- you repeatedly need to request the reception counter to send someone to attend to you. Reception counter is very under attended. Just one person. No lobby manager On the whole - a very mediocre experience. Probably should have been better to opt for a Grand Hyatt or Sheraton. Surely will avoid staying here in future.

Visiting KSA for the first time for work and this hotel was suggest by a coworker. Staff was friendly, attentive, welcoming. Diverse and delicious breakfast and dinner options provided in-house. Ibrahim the night manager was particularly helpful for me when I first arrived. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious rooms, friendly staffs (especially Filip), quiet areas, large breakfast area, comfy lobby. Perfect for short getaway. The only downsides are the elevator mechanism, hard to operate with the key card (not efficient) and small pool area and sauna. Other than that, it was a very comfortable short vacation. Would love to be back.

I’d requested a taxi (called and emailed them) to pick up from the airport but they forgot. Manager tried to compensate by offering me complimentary dinner which was a good gesture. I declined as it was too late at night. Nice stay and courteous staff.

Booking was easier through call a lot easier and informative took their time to book, rooms are neat, staff humble and cooperative. Specially suited for families and reasonable prices as compare to other hotels with same standard. I would recommend to everyone see my review.

I do NOT recommend staying at this hotel. They canceled our booking while we were on the way to the Hotel without advance notice. When we called the reception to discuss the situation, the Manager on Duty was extremely unprofessional and took advantage of the situation to "rebook" our stay for a higher price. We explained that we should have gotten a notice regarding the reason for canceling, but she treated us with extreme coldness. We ended up getting another room at the same hotel for a higher price, and discovered that the rooms are not as comfortable and pleasant as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Towels and slippers were missing and for the first night we didn't get the extra mattress for our third guest. We tried to contact the reception several times during our stay, and nobody ever picked up the phone. Overall, we were not happy with the entire hotel experience and with the way we were treated.

Nice room. Very spacious a d classy. Cost a bit over 500 SAR. There is a parking space available. Location is nice with easy access to the city. 5 mins drive to the mall. All in all its a good hotel to stay in in khobar.

Just checked out today after booking a two-night and 3-day staycation with friends. We had an amazing experience from accommodating and hospitable staffs especially from Mr.Felip who always make sure we have everything we need. We also enjoyed the aesthetic interior of the hotel and we sure did take a lot of photos to show our friends and family. Our booking to their suite room comes with free breakfast which by the way is exquisite and delightful. We felt at home and most importantly safe. The hotel’s strict adherence to the covid protocol is exceptional. Thank you for the warm treatment. We definitely recommend this hotel to everybody.

Amazing ambiance and friendly staff. I liked most the Moroccan restaurant allocated in the ground floor: very authentic decorations and food. All the dishes are tasty and well-presented. One of my in-hotel restaurants in Al Khobar. One little problem: occasional, yet rare, inconsistency in the quality/taste of the food served.
