Love the views here! Both the mountains & the river! Definitely a relaxing place to be! I was even told in the winter months the ditches have been stocked with trout so I seen a few people fishing.

Fun day at the river with the dogs. This is a great way to cool off during the hot ABQ summer. I recommend bringing or wearing shoes that are good for water and "river walking". The river bed is wither very sandy or very rocky. Watch out for the strong current though. The river can be very dangerous if you are not a strong swimmer. The trees are beautiful and there are plenty of great walking paths to explore. If you liked this post please let me know and click "helpful" Thanks!

Great trails, options for paved vs not, really good views and great for strollers, bikes, walking and running. Some trails for horses too!

It's always a joy to visit the Albuquerque Open Spaces at Alameda. I regularly see equestrians, bicyclists, hikers, people walking their dogs and just getting outside and enjoying the trails. Starting from here you can go South to Rio Bravo or North to Bernalillo on a trail system that doesn't include automobiles. Get the kids off the couch and away from their electronics and go for a hike today.

One of Albuquerque's best maintained bike/walking trails. I love the views, how clean it is and police presence. This is one of my favorite trails 💯👌

Great place to get out for a stroll with the dog on a mild fall day and to learn about and get some ideas for native plants to include in your landscaping.

Alemeda open space is a great place to park your vehicle then pursue a variety of activities. Biking, running, walking, birding can all be pursued from here. To access the open space for birds walk under the bridge and up the path over the foot bridge. Woodpeckers, Hawks, northern harrier, song birds, eagles during the winter. Porcupines and muskrat and coyotes can also be found here.

Such a nice place to walk and to get close to the water! There’s a bridge to cross off of Coors you have to go north to take the turn off, if you’re coming south simply do a u turn where it’s safe. Perfect for walking, hiking, dog walking, bring, horseback.

Popular biking, walking, nature viewing area. Fishing areas as well as sandy spots when the river isn't running high.

This is a bit of a hidden gem. When I was looking for a good park to walk my dog this didn't even come up. It's a great dog trail and has a nice picnic area and mini garden as well!

Beautiful trails. Nice, clean, and flat. Good for conditioning. Dog friendly, must be leashed.

Nice walk for an elderly lady. Not too crowded on a Saturday morning, however, the parking lot was full. Felt safe and people I encountered were very friendly. Lovely scenery. The walks will be replacing some of my senior exercise tapes, atleast a couple times a week.

👍👍 This park is great! A wonderful park for children ages from 3 to 10yrs. The biggest attraction is the huge slide. ALL the kids play on this thru out the day. Theres a large sandbox, climbing structure, toddler swings, a zip line , a large saucer-basket like swing. It also offers a very long bike...
