The food was delicious. We had to wait until a table was open, they take your information then call you in when there's one available. The price was average for a mexican food restaurant (about 13 dollars for a carne asada plate with rice, beans, 2 enchiladas, and tortillas), but the food and service was definitely above average. Servings are large so we all had some leftover food (see pic). We had horchata and it was also pretty amazing, not all watery and bland like some places tend to make it. Overall we loved this place and will definitely be coming back.

Ya Zig really likes this place, not fancy but clean and comfortable. Tv's on opposing walls why not! The food is autentica Mexican, clean food and very tasty, the burritos looked awesome, i had a fuull breakfast that topped me off! Will be a regular, generous servings and moderately priced and the food is served stove hot just like Zig likes it.

Our first time here. I had the Plato Mexicano and my wife had the Costillas! Both were absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The staff was friendly and top-notch!

It was delicious food, one dish can be enoug for two people. Very busy small place with great service. Sometimes, you have to wait for a little while to get a table because it gets full when it is getting close to lunchtime, but the wait is worth. I like that they add a baby 👶 diaper change station in the bathroom. Please install a little hook to the bathroom door. Something I really don't like is the new wooden chairs they're so annoying because they're very noisy when you move them. it would be nice to put leg caps. Another thing about the chairs is that they are too low.

Probably the worst Mexican food I have ever had. They only offered low-shelf margaritas and the ones they offered did not taste good at all. Very watered down and bad mix. I got the Mexican plate. The only thing good on it was the Rice. The refried beans tasted like they were from a can. The tortilla in the enchilada was soggy. The peppers in the chile rellenos were super over cooked and soggy as well. The tortillas tasted like your average grocery store tortillas that were warmed on a stove top.

I love this restaurant! I love the bean and cheese burrito. It’s a simple meal but I’m always looking for a really good one and I found it here. I saw other plates that looked delicious. The chips and green salsa are so good. It’s not overly spicy which is my preference. Our waitresses (Delilia sp? was one of their names) were really nice and the owner was very sweet and works very hard for her restaurant.

I'm from California and came to visit family. Everything was fabulous. I am a person where the 1st thing I taste is the beans n rice. My theory is if the beans n rice are good, the food must be good. I WAS CORRECT. DELICIOUS

Needed a quick bite while traveling through Albuquerque. Delicious. Good, speedy service. Fair prices. Large portions. The horchata was freshest that I have ever had.

Love this place ❤️ Been coming here for years even back before they built the new building nearly 20 yrs ago. Food is as good now as it was then. Ate here again today, several months after my last review. Damn good food! I've never had a bad meal here. Consistently delicious!

Food is authentic Mexican taste. Delicious! Highly recommend for their variety meals. Small family place for a weekend treat. Chair might be uncomfortable, for they are wooden flat surface. Maybe to get you in and out.

Oysters we’re amazing & Fresh Shrimp cocktail was good. Carne asada was spendy and portion was small not worth the money. Everything was delicious though

Friendly service. Big plates. Good food. Would go back. Not very wheelchair accessible, smaller walkways and entrance.

Great food, friendly service However, tables were too close together. They had plenty of staff, so it wasn't to uncomfortable.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Albuquerque. The food is always fresh, plentiful, and tastes good. Service has always been top notch. The atmosphere is that of a cafe, not a dinner house. The best part is this is a place you can take your out of town family and friends to and they can enjoy what they are eating, without their face melting.

Potent, tasty margaritas and delicious Fiesta Camarenas (bacon wrapped shrimp) Taco salad had very good seasoned chicken but the steak fajita meat was tough. Overall very good experience with friendly service.

Every Sunday rolls in like clockwork and if the craving for Menudo kicks in- this is my place! I do always swing by to snag some, but dining-in isn't quite my cup of tea. Why? Well, their popularity means an ever bustling crowd & a wait time of anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. But hey, if you've got the patience, it's worth every tick of the clock.
