This has been my go-to for local meats, dairy, and produce for the past few months. The employees/counter attendants are always extremely knowledgeable. In addition to how their customer service is at an exemplary level. The owner does a lot to accommodate the needs of customers, as well as going beyond to try and keep up with local supply/demand chains (which is not easy whatsoever). The shop itself is conveniently located. It’s small but very well organized, and feels extremely covid safe. It’s rare for anybody to be there besides myself and an employee. You can even purchase pantry staples like locally milled flour, vinegar, spice mixes, etc. Try the fermented goods. Try the tortillas made by one of the best tortillerías in town. Get those fresh, nutritious bags of rainbow chard, red spinach, carrots, and fresh herbs. Get the oh-so-tender harvest moon potatoes. Get the eggs and pork sausage— you WILL have the best fried eggs, sausage, and potatoes for breakfast. When they carry DeSmet Dairy milk— grab a half gallon. The in-house made dulce de manzana is sooo addicting. By shopping at Tiny Grocer I know I’m in turn supporting local farmers, sustainable agricultural practices, etc. Lastly, make sure to get a coffee or tea latte when you’re there and leave a good tip— you will not regret it!

This is a special little cafe, grocer, and herb shop. The cafe’s menu is regularly updated with *very* yummy, thoughtfully-sourced dishes (they have a wonderful chef on staff), the grocer includes local specialty items (their soups and breads have been amazing, along with their diverse mushroom selection), and the herb shop carries a variety of products from local herbalists… the bath bombs and seasonal mulling spices have been a real treat! Big fan all around. More people need to experience the cafe’s incredible food ! This business deserves much success - their hard work and care for the community is palpable.

Ordered a chai Latte, which was delightfully spicy, a scone (amazing) and a butternut squash quesadilla (REALLY GOOD). Would recommend for quick bites and good coffee! Staff was amazing!

Tiny Grocer is a gem! We purchased some goodies for our hotel room, and some items to bring home. The people were wonderfully accommodating. Excellent Covid safety measures in place as well.

Was excited to try this place based on the stellar reviews but the chicken sandwich I ordered was the color of blackstrap molasses and was tough and tasteless. A complete disappointment. I liked the location and atmosphere, and the attached shop is cute but it must have been someone’s first day in the kitchen.

Really nice and colorful place on the plaza. Lots of delicate items. Keep arms folded so you don’t break something. Helpful staff. Wife shopped here and bought some amazing deals

I was only in ABQ for a few days but visited Tiny Grocer multiple times. They make an amazing matcha tea!! Their store has gorgeous produce fresh from local farms. The lettuce was wonderful and the tomatoes were beyond delicious - just the way i remember them fresh from my Mom’s garden. I brought home some green chili powder and red chili powder from their store and I am still enjoying wonderful memories of Old Town every time I taste these wonderful flavors. Lovely indoor tables and nice outdoor venue!

I absolutely love this store! My daughter and I love getting baked goods here. The food is delicious and changes seasonally which I love. They use local ingredients and keep it interesting. It's a great place to get staples as well as gifts. Parking is easy and ample. We can't wait to try the curry spot that have for lunch one day soon!

I really wanted to love this place. The grocery is nice, great products, but the restaurant/cafe......for $20+ we ordered 2 meals, chicken salad and a bowl of posole. We received a SAUCER of posole, one tortilla. Chicken salad was 1/2 cup on some arugula with no bread whatsoever!!! I bought a loaf in the grocery for $7.50 (!) so I could eat the chicken salad and by god, that's it for me, not ever going back to eat there. I'm just sorry I didn't get a photo of the Tiny Meals.

Every meal I have here is better than the last ! What a gift to have healthy and delicious options in the heart of old town. Their menu changes regularly and I love that no matter what I order, it’s delicious and I feel amazing after. They even have gluten free pastry options every day, not to mention amazing refreshing teas! You won’t be disappointed 💚

Yum, yum, yum! I’m new to ABQ and found my favorite green and red tamales here as well as the best tortillas in town. They have a lovely selection of fresh veggies and a cute little free book exchange in the front. Lots of great locally made art and cool food products. The herbal shop in the back rocks and has lovely items and fresh teas. The patio is a great place for lunch with lots of fresh cafe selections. One of my favorite new stops in Old Town.

Sunday July 2, I made the mistake of having my coworker get me a Smash Burger. The reason it was a mistake is because it was so wonderfully delicious I am going to want it more than my budget will allow. You won't regret ordering this burger it is one of the best Albuquerque has to offer. And I could eat a barrel of the wonderful Pickles that came with it.

Fantastic little market. They have a large selection of excellent local products, and the cafe food and coffees are some of the best in town.

Very good experience. Very helpful. Cool local honey and other local goods. Nice metaphysical accessories, herbs, tarot decks, want to try the cofffee and fooood.

This was our first visit since they moved and opened up the restaurant. My wife and I both had the burger and it was stellar! I am a connoisseur of Green Chile Cheeseburgers, and this is one of the best, anywhere! The beef is incredible, cooked perfectly to a nice medium and super juicy, topped with a generous helping of good green chile and a fat slab of cheese, finished with grilled onions and homemade pickles, and the bun does it job through and through. What an amazingly well constructed masterpiece! Don't sleep on this burger, it crushes! We'll be back real soon to try other things, bet.

Love the new Tiny Grocer. Liz took over the old dying Backstreet Grill and turned it into something special. Here you'll find a little bit of everything local, from leafy greens to juicy sweet specialty apples to honey lavender Piñon mustard vinegarette. And more. There's a tiny Café as well. Try the chai by Sonia Masocco. Ayurvedic blend. Fresh as a daisy.
