Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 THIS place! I love coffee drinks and normally I will go to different places and get one or two. I did that here but I came back and ended up with another of of the black birds it was so good perfect if you like a Latta that is slightly sweet but has more flavor then anything. So good! People often mention coffee, good, seating, shop, pastries, cute, cafe, coffees, recommend, drink,

Beautiful little cafe in the old town shopping area. Located inside the courtyard there is plenty of seating outside and inside. The latte I ordered was tasty. The artwork on the walls, flowers in the garden and unique appeal of this place all add to the charm.

ordered a traditional latte, and it was probably one of the best coffees I've ever had! it was lovely, just the right amount of sweetness and milk, plus the coffee taste was still intact and bright! the size was okay, I would have preferred if the large was a bit bigger. the servers were also very nice. my only issue is that flavoured syrup cost a whole extra dollar, as did dairy alternative. I understand an extra 50c, but a buck? as someone who is lactose intolerant, that really makes going out so much more expensive! but otherwise, I'd stop in again. it was great coffee, and the cafe itself was very colourful.

Absolutely quaint and adorable location. Definitely limited seating inside, but during the warmer months I'm sure the outside patio is just as nice. I had the Tumbleweed and it was perfect. Staff were pleasant and we did not have to wait long for our drinks.

Cute and eclectic coffee shop located in the historic Old Town district of Albuquerque. Highly recommend the Black bird, the chili in it was unique but not over powering.

First off, the staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Bison hot; I couldn’t really taste the red chile, but it was delicious and velvety! The taste and texture was chef’s kiss 🤌🏽 Not as good as the Cottonwood or the Roadrunner though. The Cottonwood cold had subtle smooth lavender and honey flavor. Oh and the cinnamon on the cold roadrunner was perfect. Drinks 10/10. Environment 10/10. The lighting was relaxing in combination with the smooth jazz. There are options for beautiful patio/outdoor seating with water always available inside. Would recommend for both locals and out of town visitors. My kid recommended this place after studying here.

The blackbird coffee is possibly the best cup of coffee I've had ever, the combination of caffeine , dark chocolate and chile is incredible and something I've never thought to put together. The green Chile quiche was beautiful , buttery egg based filling that just kept getting creamier as you kept eating , the cinnamon roll was comfort in a roll. I've only been in America for 4 days now, but this has set the bar really high

When in Abq and if you’re looking for a local cafe definitely try blackbird coffee house. It is so convenient if you’re trying to start your day at the old plaza because it is right at the entrance of the plaza. If you’re dining in the cafe itself is quite small but the outdoor seating has a garden area so grab a table and enjoy the views. The cafe has a vibrant graffiti wall for your Instagram pictures. The numerous reviews this place has is absolutely true. Their coffee is really good. Try the black bird coffee which has a mild Red Chile flavor a must try if you like something different than your usual coffee. My friend tried Bison which was light and good start for the day. We also tried the cherry pastry which was so fresh.

If you love chai or aren’t that big fan of coffee, I HIGHLY recommend their tea lattes. They’re deliciously smooth. I also had their roadrunner coffee. It’s perfectly balanced, not spicy or too sweet. They warm up their pastries and will serve on a real plate if you order for here. I kept coming back here throughout my trip and will come again next time I visit.

Very tiny cafe with limited seating inside and very little space to maneuver. I like the pastries better than the coffees. Was disappointed with the milk foam. My coffee making skills might be rusty but the foam texture was not right. It’s just hot milk. We got the nutcracker from the holiday menu and Jack rabbit. Nutcracker was overwhelmed by the almond flavor. Jack Rabbit was sweet with lavender aftertaste, not sophisticated or flavorful. The outdoor seating is actually the courtyard of the plaza shared by many stores. It’s nice and cute. Service was ok. The cashier took my order was friendly. I was told to wait a sec for our pastries. Then was asked to move away from the register by another person. It was a bit confusing for us firs-timer where to wait. Not the best experience I was hoping but it could just be not my day.

Top notch place for flavorful coffees and tasty lemonades ☕🍋 Good side pastries and snacks for your studying or reading pleasure🍰👨🏻‍💻 WiFi and plugs are a must and they check that box but seating is limited but worth nabbing if you can! Fantastic service too, really friendly staff! 😋👏🏻

Lovely coffee shop with great coffee options. Had an amazing chocolate crossiant. The courtyard area outside was a perfect spot to sit and enjoy our coffee.

The little courtyard this shop is nestled into in enchanting. But it was the incredible lavender simple syrup they made for my drink that was the highlight of my day. Great spot.

We loved this place. The coffees were really good - we did some of their specialty coffees and the pastries were insane (apricot twist and cinnamon roll). There is not a lot of indoor seating and it wasn’t the most comfortable place for working or talking because it was so crammed, but I am sure the outside space is amazing in the summer. It is also next to so many cute local shops - definitely recommend grabbing a drink and walking around!

Great coffee! Great pastries! Great service! I tasted the Road Runner, the Hot Chocolate, and the White Mocha. All were good. Best was probably the Road Runner. Merchandise is well priced and cool. Fun place. Easy atmosphere. If it’s not raining, outside is a good place to get school and work done. Inside is a little tight, but cozy. A place where you just instantly like the people.

Nice ambiance. Reasonable price. Food quality? We only bought the quiche since the food choices was very limited. But for sure the matcha peach cold tea was terrific :)

My personal choice for best coffee shop in ABQ (and I've been to many). I always order the Blackbird hot latte because it's my favorite, though my husband has branched out, and I've liked the drinks he tried as well. Sipping coffee in the garden outside the shop is a dream.

Very cute place and a simple menu! The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. They even have a book exchange (how cute!) The coffee is GREAT tasting and so are the pastries. My husband got the (hot) Bison and I got the (hot) Roadrunner. We shared a cherry turnover. The coffees are the right amount of coffee, flavor, and a perfect amount of sweetness. My husband had the turnover warmed. O. M. G. 🤤 Every bite was DELICIOUS. We were fighting over the last bite. Highly recommend starting your morning here!

Tumbleweed was amazing! Price is normal over priced coffee. Nice seating area cute coffee shop overall inside and out but inside gets crowded waiting for drinks. Will definitely come back on the next visit to try other options. Heard the other teas are great and baked goods are delicious

Very good coffee and local tea options as well. Friendly staff, small amount of seating. You can park just outside (15minute time limit) or pay to park on the lot. Lots of art shops to see close by as well. Wifi available.

Great people run this place. I misplaced my glasses next door and they checked for me. Came in after driving back down to retrieve them and enjoyed the ambience.

Cute little coffee shop. Very busy though. Took forever to get my coffee. It was lovely though. Service was slow. But apart from that all good.

We stopped for coffee. We drink ours black, so check other reviews for their special concoctions. Almond milk latte was good. The humble brewed coffee was served piping hot the way it should. Extra star for that. Pastry Apricot braid was a nice change from the muffins.

This is the place to go enjoy some really good coffee. The Blackbird coffee (with Espresso, dark chocolate, red chile & milk) is so good. The bitter sweet is super yummy.

Tucked into a back corner in the middle of Old Town is a true gem. After the barista's recommendation, I ordered the Roadrunner Latte. With flavors of hazelnut, vanilla, and cinnamon, this oatmilk latte hit just right. I didn't order a pastry, but the ones in the case were certainly tempting. I enjoyed my drink just outside at the table in the cool of the shade.

A cute and quaint coffee shop in the heart of the Old Town shopping district. I was recommended to try the cactus pear nectar iced tea. However, when I visited it wasn't available. I had my heart set on the prickly pear nectar and wasn't in the mood to have coffee so I left. But the pastries and coffee drink menu sound good. I gave 3 stats to be neutral as I didn't taste or buy anything.
