The star of VM is the coffee. Other coffee shops either try too hard and supply mid coffee, or try not hard enough with an underrated collection. VM has an industrial look with a warm ish interior, brought together by the soft browns in the chairs and walls. The glass storefront is nice, providing views of warehouses and cracked roads, with just a hint of mountain. I had the hot chocolate, a milk based, very hot concoction. The wide lipped mug descended layer after layer of whipped cream into the hot chocolate, providing a smooth drink all the way through. I didn't see what they used to bring in the flavor, but the wait time suggested melted chocolate. With the loss of Buds n Beans Cafe, I believe VM brawls The Brew for downtown's best hot chocolate, although the competition for the area is fierce. It would be criminal to walk into this place without grabbing a chocolate crossiant. They're flakier than a first date, full of rich flavor without packing in too much chocolate, and fairly priced. Seriously. Try one.

Excellent sniffable fresh ground beans made to order from a great menu. This is a fairly new coffee brewery located in a multipurpose strip plaza. Surroundings are older buildings and gravel or street parking. The space has a modern industrial feel with a few bar seats, cool high tables and seating; including an outdoor shady patio - comfy for hot days. Tours may be available; just ask. Totally a space to get quiet work done. Cheers caffeine addicts!

The coffee here is always smooth and perfectly roasted. My go to is the maple latte, and its always a great choice. They offer alternative milks, amazing croissants, and great customer service.

Espresso drinks are inconsistent at best. When it’s good it’s pretty good, but I’ve gotten espresso pulls that are just hot water, or milk that has just been warmed instead of steamed and foamed more than I’ve gotten a good coffee.

Good coffee, but snooty staff. Been ordering my coffee beans to be ground and picking them up in the store for a few months now, but this morning they were busy, and after being ignored by two people - both first pausing to stare at me, then get back to chatting with coworkers - and the third barely spoke to me - just handed me my coffee after I said I was picking up an order - I felt like I’m probably not young or pretty enough to shop there. So I’ll go back to ordering more expensive coffee online and having it shipped to my home. My greatest regret is that I smiled and said hello to two of them only to be ignored in return. Bye Felicia!

Absolutely amazing coffee shop where the coffee beans are roasted in house. The coffee shop is next to the roastery. The coffee bar menu offers all the typical coffee beverages: espresso, americano, pour overs, and milk-frothed drinks. The space itself is very modern and lots of different sitting options with comfy chairs and high stools. Many people are working on their laptops and others are having a meeting!

Great espresso. A little acidic for my taste, but still made extremely well with high quality beans and roast. The specialty lattes are fantastic as well. The guy working was also extremely friendly. Good amount of seating (inside and out) and lots of free parking. Will definitely be back!

Hidden away in a secret alley, great ambiance and excellent service. Their coffee have the fresh and burnt bean flavor that I like, but are generally lighter for my taste.

I think it's one the best roasters in the south west. And a friend of mine, an absolute coffee fiend, the kind of guy that shims his burr grinder, selects individual coffee beans, and has $5000 espresso machine and pefects the art of brewing coffee says it's the best in town. Keep up the good work!!

The food they have begun offering is extremely overpriced. With the addition of food, the service is very poor. It's kind of crazy to expect a tip when a customer has to walk up to the counter for their drink and then again for their food.

I went to VM this afternoon to meet with my colleague. It was my first time there but I can foresee that I will come back here again. I love the atmosphere of this coffee shop. It was very inviting and open. Chairs are cozy and their coffee is very tasty! The service was wonderful! I plan to go back to try some sandwiches in the near future.

If you read the reviews below, you will see that there is a long-standing issue with service in this beautiful, interesting coffee shop. The service today was indifferent and the pleasant music was too loud to talk over.

This place was cute, kind of tucked away. It’s was busy, but not in a turnoffish way. They also serve beer which is kinda cool, I went looking for a cafe. I asked the barista for a recommendation based on what I was feeling and they served me up a nitro cold brew and delivered it to my table!

I've been coming here for what.... 8 years? Way before they built this amazing facility. The coffee is always top notch. But recently I've fallen for their Turkey sandwich. Do yourself a favor and get yourself one, add avocado and green chille. My top coffee there is the busy bee. And I buy the Tavi whole bean. Great local business, I'll be a customer for a lifetime.

You can smell the coffee even before you walk in. Came in with my family and we LOVED it, it’s the best cappuccino we’ve ever had outside home!!!! Sadly, it’s far away from home (we live in Texas) but whenever we come to NM again, we definitely going to come back here

Terrific coffee and terrific people. I recently ordered some beans on line to be sent out of state. They were delayed a couple days due to work at their facility. The packing slip for the shipment contained a handwritten apology from the GM for the delay and a free sample of their Gesha Monteblanco - which is delicious! Love these guys and their product.

I used to come to this coffee shop to study as a student years ago, but today I stopped by to get some work done and the public wifi wasn't working. I brought it up to staff twice who were dismissive about it. As much as I like the coffee here, I am going to start going elsewhere! For the price of the coffee and food, they should have working wifi.

Just popped in for a cup and a meeting. The young lady working the front went above and beyond to make it a great experience. You know when someone greets you and asks how your day is going and you can tell that they genuinely mean it?!

Best spot in town. Used to be amazing coffee only, but now with the addition of Yolanda and her amazing cuisine. It has turned into a world class brunch spot that serves world class coffee. The staff is like family, the managers are incredible, Everything is just great there.

What a gem! After traveling many states and visited many local roasters, this place really stands out. Every single cup brings a magnificent experience. Highly recommend to try their pour overs and their espresso shots. Even the nitro green tea has a good balance between the fruity note and the tea itself. We tried the whisky pour over with an Orange chocolate scone, which highlighted the whiskey note of the coffee. It was truly amazing!

Hidden behind some commercial buildings, plenty parking in front of the building, nice sitting are that opens to outside. They roast their own blend and the roastery is behind the building. Ordered a shot which was really good. And it was served properly with sparkling water..
