Came here twice in a week since the staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is affordable. The cookies are more of the crumbly kind. From the shakes to cookies to the pizza, everything was done well. A true hidden gem.

Great, friendly service. Prompt, polite attention. They let me try a sample to make sure I got what I wanted. The biscochitos are good, but the empañadas stole the show. Make a trip over!

I love the story behind this place. They were featured on Food Network Diners Drive-Inns and Dives and New Mexico True TV. The food here was delicious! I had a ham and cheese with chips and queso. The green Chile bread compliments the vegetables and meat in the sandwich very well. They even have a Biscochito vending machine that sits out front if you want a fast and easy alternative to buying the famous cookie. I would love to give this place a 5 stars but the staff needs to be trained better. We waited over 30 minutes for our sandwich, and by the time we received them, we got the wrong bread. Overall, I would highly recommend.

I think this place is highly overrated. They have some good stuff but nothing to write home about. It definitely caters to a niche market and maybe I’m not part of it. It’s definitely a cool place to visit as the building is very traditionally New-Mexican. The wedding cookies were very good.

Had the pizzas here. It was pretty amazing. The owner came out and talked to us. Very friendly and good service. The only thing is the were out of almost everything. The empanadas were amazing. Very soft and crumbling melt in your mouth. I’d 100% recommend the biscotti milkshake.

Fanatic empañafas, light as a feather. I also tried a personal pizza with blue corn crust. I'm a jersey girl who's into traditional Italian pizza but once I told myself this wasn't going to be pizza, I loved it.

There is an angel here. Who calls bread into being each morning. Who prepares the calabaza, not sweet, spiced, for the empanadas. From puff pastry so light that it should not be possible in the desert. All baked in an oven that no longer exists. The Greeks called the angel πρακτική. Who will be with us for 130 years, but 84 of the years have already passed. Do not delay in coming.

Amazing bake shop that’s well loved and visited by the locals! The workers know many of the locals by name and sometimes begin ringing their order as they walk in the door. This is my first ever bisochito (pairs great with coffee) and I’m pleasantly surprised by how delicate and delicious they are! I’d love to visit again to try their pizzas and empanadas as those looked amazing as well!

Went here the other night for a quick bite to eat. We let the guy taking our order know it was our first time and he made some amazing recommendations. We ended up getting the pastrami sandwich on green chile bread and the blue corn crust “Guy Fieri” pizza which had artichoke and red onion on it. The food was all fresh made and absolutely delicious! We also bought a loaf of the Green Chile bread to take home and that has been the absolute star of the show all week! It is perfectly spicy and flavorful! It has made a wonderful addition to eggs and toast, grilled cheese sandwiches, and it delicious straight up as buttered toast!

This is a local favorite and has been featured on Diners, Drive-in and Dives. Delicious baked goods that are truly New Mexican. Must stop by if you can.

Everything here was delicious. We got different flavor empanadas and cookies. I'm usually not a fan of empanadas, but these are the best I've ever eaten in my 50+ years.😆

Tried 3 different sandwiches. Salami, Turkey, and Ham. All three on point. The acidity of the mustard and Italian vinaigrette was just right. Disappointed in in the cookie. When we went we saw lots of people eating pizza. Since we were just passing through and needed to eat on the car, we opted out. Definitely want to check out the Pizza in the future though. Cool fact: they roast their own coffee beans

Great pizza, Great bakery. Place is designed to get your snacks and food and go home. No inside seating. Outside seating has no shade.... food was excellent.

This bakery is closed Monday and Tuesday so I only have pictures outside of the building and patio. See photo of posted hours. Parking is on site. When closed you can purchase items via their bakery ATM. You will be greeted by a virtual reality woman and she'll guide through the process and ta da! yumminess. See photos. We purchased NM Green Chile bread and it looks delectable! So looking forward to trying it. We will definitely be back during open hours. I'm excited to sit on the patio and munch several flavors of biscochitos. 😋

The green chile crust pizza was so delicious! We tried the cappuccino bischochito and chocolate bischochito, both were good but the original is best. Will ne back to try other items!! Such a great place!

Wonderful experience here! Staff was super helpful. Food was wonderful. Enjoyed the empanadas and pizza!! Their dough was unique, made with a darker flour… Loved sitting on their patio. Good shade and peaceful! Keep up the good work folks!!! ❤️

I loved Golden Crown when I lived in Albuquerque and it's still wonderful. The counter staff is always friendly. They have a great tea selection thanks to the New Mexico Tea Company, which is right next door. All of the baked goods are good but if you can get the peanut butter and chocolate cookies, snatch them up while you can because they don't last long. Apparently the coffee is good too. They have a really nice patio with plenty of tables.

I wish I could rate them higher - legitimately some of the best coffee and pastries we have ever had. We chatted with the owner - sooooo friendly and his passion is infectious! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Great little panderia. The cashier was friendly and even offered me a free cinnamon cookie. They have interesting flavors such as mocha wedding cookies and blue corn cinnamon cookies. The empanadas were large but the filling seemed a little artificial. They also serve pizza (which I didn't try )

Very nice place built by the owner. A very charming man. Very tasty pastries, in a wide variety. Can't order, but there is a machine outside.

They have a nice set up here. The outdoor seating area brings this place to life. The food was ok. I believe the owner took our order. He was friendly so I gave them an extra star.

I love the biscochitos! Crumbly but not to sweet. Just sweet enough with good flavor. Must try if passing through

One of the best pizza I have ordered in the new mexico. Excellent homemade dough with fresh materials. So friendly guys. I really enjoyed the home-made cakes and cookies. Will definitely come back!

I had a good friend tell me about this place. I wasn't able to try everything, but the empanadas and green chili bread were amazing. The staff were amazing, the owner is the nicest guy.

Small gem with a great atmosphere and a wonderful outdoor sitting area. The pizza and milkshakes are awesome and the green chili bread divine.
