Wow, I've been missing out. The burger and home fries were bomb! Be sure and leave soon for the custard (family recipe) after your meal. Totally worth it. Everyone was so nice. I didn't realize they had closed already until I was leaving. Yet they were still as friendly and helpful as could be. Stop by and support this local family owned business. You'll enjoy it!

Very nice place! This Family has been here in the South Valley for 23 years. Their restaurant is very clean with a homey ,cozy atmosphere. Their coffee is good and hot! I enjoyed my breakfast very much!

Was casually looking for somewhere to dine after 7pm as restaurants seem to be afraid of the dark in Albuquerque on a Friday night. Have never been to this restaurant before. Place your order before sitting down, as there is no table service order taking… OK, seemed a bit different than most, and it was. Ordered the Meatloaf and a Carne Adovado plate; both were promptly prepared and brought to my table. Very pleased with my choices and the service was wonderful. Food was well flavored, tender, perfect portions. The only downside was the sopapilla waa underwhelmed by the packet of honey. I will definitely be back to try other dishes here as food being served elsewhere looked good, too.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! The staff is wonderful and courteous. Debbie was over checking on us and we got to know a little about her and her family. Love the inviting feeling of this place and the food is AMAZING with a home made taste.

My husband has celiac disease and thus we have to be super picky about where we eat. They communicated well with us about which dishes could be made gluten free and how they did so. They took painstaking measures to keep his food away from any gluten and we've never felt so confident that he wouldn't get cross-contaminated. We both greatly enjoyed the food and will definitely be back.

This was a quick find. I had their Green Chili Cheese Burger with sopapilla buns. Delicious. The meat was a well seasoned hand pressed patty. Not some thin piece, but a thick "Mom" burger patty. I opted for salad instead of the steak fries. They also have homemade desserts, which on my visit, 3/26/22, included 3 different types of cheesecakes. So when I'm back in ABQ, this place will be on my list of places to eat.

Amazing food, amazing owners, great music! Everyone was so welcoming, gave off warm home vibes! Like eating at your grandparents house & they take care of you! 10/10 highly recommend to everyone! They’re awesome with kids in general as well, they didn’t pass off judgement like other restaurant owners do! This was overall a great experience!

They have a sign saying come a stranger's leave as family. It is very true. This restaurant is the closest I've ever had to a real family atmosphere. They care about the food that they cook for you. The cheeseburger is pretty good. Nothing overly special but also not overly priced. My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. That I think is just amazing My favorite in Albuquerque.

This is a really a hidden gem tucked away in the corners of the south valley. I love the service. It is family owned and you can feel it. They treat you as you are a part of the family. This place makes traditional New Mexican food. Try the natillas you will not be disappointed.

In town for Balloon Fiesta and this restaurant was only eight minutes from our rental. It's definitely worth the try! Ordered the BLAT, meatloaf, and tavo salad. Great food and very friendly staff! I'm glad we found you!

The lady helping at the counter was pretty rude and seemed bothered to be taking our order for a party 6. Children plates that come with one taco are $9, super over priced we could have made tacos for our entire party for the price we paid for 2 kids plates. Everything else was just ehhh too, average cost per plate was $14. Totally not worth it, then they want a tip and literally you order at the window they bring you your food and there are no refills. Honestly save yourself some money and make this basic food at home. Not happy to have spent $100 here for this level of service or food.

This is the first time I’ve made a restaurant review. I was happy to try a new restaurant and I dined in with a good friend. The staff is quite friendly. Unfortunately, I was/am disappointed that practically every food item on the menu costs $16.99. Too pricey. I felt more disappointed that the meatloaf that I ordered tasted like hospital food and whatever it was made with left me feeling weird all night long. I had to brush my teeth a couple of times to try to get the odd flavor out of my mouth but did not work. I tasted a bite of my friend’s meal and it tasted like hospital food as well. I’ve never had this type of experience with a restaurant until now. Hopefully other menu items taste better.

Clean environment, friendly staff, amazing food. The staff were very friendly but still professional. The food was extremely tasty and fresh. The only “complaint” I could say was the food was very fresh that it was temperature HOT, I had to wait a while to let it cool. (No really complaint at all) Despite that it was a great experience. Can’t wait to go again.

I live in Texas now but used to live close to this amazing business. The food is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant is always very clean and presentable. The best part about this restaurant is the family that owns it. They create such an enjoyable environment with unsurpassed customer service.

The food is homemade, and the service is excellent they make you feel at home, and the natillas are fresh and warm every day they make you feel like grandma was in the kitchen cooking They also make a delicious meatloaf my husband loves it. The prices are very reasonable especially together hamburgers. I think everything is their specialty, They do serve everything from breakfast homemade new Mexican to American yo love it I do..

This place is good. The green chili Enchiladas were dry basically just chicken & buenos green chili. Staff is Friendly especially the man who brings you your food but definitely over priced. The prices here are that of a nice 5 star restaurant so that’s disappointing. You’ll pay $15 for 3 taquitos it’s definitely over priced

Omg this place is the bomb. We got to meet Roy and his family and talk to them about their restaurant. His daughter Monica makes all the cheesecakes there from scratch. I had the key lime and we shared the Roy's special. I was so stuffed. Great place, good and owners. We will be back again.

Me and my family walked in after a shopping spree on a whim. I was so impressed, especially being that I had never heard of this place before. The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and kind, even offering us free desserts for our first visit, and I loved the feel that came from the restaurant. I will definitely come again!

This place is a local jem! The owners are such friendly people they make you feel like family!! The food is homemade and is yummy! It was my first time going and I took my mom for lunch. The basket of fries is huge and their guac. Tostadas are fresh and delicious!! They have a beautiful mural of the Sandias painted inside the restaraunt. Come on by and give them a try!! I'm getting their green chile burger next time I come!! No wonder Brittany Hope loves this place!!🌻👍 I forgot to mention they gave me and my mom free natillas, and they were delicious!!!
