This place was the most disorganized, unprofessional, and filthy business I have ever seen. Access to the gym is near impossible, the equipment is in horrible condition (for what’s even still functional), and is absolutely filthy. The bathrooms are repulsive, having questionable brown splatters on the wall near the toilets, mold and mildew, and hair on the toilets, sinks, walls, showers and floors. As for the gym itself, the same is true. There is hair, dust, trash and various debris on every surface. There was no music playing and no one available to ask about music or equipment. I waited outside for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get in and purchase a day pass. After multiple phone calls and messages, someone called me and told me how to get access and pay since no one was at the facility. Not worth your time or money.

Never been more satisfied with the equipment as it is some of the best quality powerlifting equipment out there. This is the best powerlifting gym in the state in my opinion. Management is professional and memberships are very affordable. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to increase their fitness levels.

Who ever owns this place obviously doesn’t care 😂 I’ve stayed here a couple months because I liked that it was 24 hours. It’s absolutely disgusting, I don’t believe it’s ever been clean restrooms are filthy and have stains in the shower and floors 🤮 what is my $48 going to there’s no workers or improvements I was stuck on the sitting squat machine because it was old and broken super painful my friend had to rush to get the weights off! I called to cancel my membership and they just hung up!

I’ve been to several gyms in Albuquerque and Los lunas and this is by far the best one I’ve been to. Everyone is genuine and nice. I love the gym atmosphere and everyone is supportive! I have seen the most improvement at legion. If you have your doubts about it I encourage you try it out. This gym is for people who are genuinely focused on improvement and becoming the best version of themselves. This is more than a gym it’s a second home and a family.

Best gym around. Don't even bother wasting your time in another gym. This is where Arnold would workout if he lived here

I joined this gym about a year ago when I was trying to lose weight. The owner was more than kind and very supportive. He has created an environment that makes his members feel like family. I could not recommend this gym more to anyone who is looking to make the most out of their fitness goals! Since I’ve joined, I’ve lost over 101lbs, had constant support from Garret and other members, and have made life long friends along the way. I refuse to go to another gym now.

I have always been nervous to start out at a new gym, but as soon as I walked in, I was welcomed. Everyone is there to improve themselves and help you improve yourself as well. The gym has everything you’d need to get any work out necessary completed. I really enjoy my workouts when I’m there and plan to continue to have many more.

Bets powerlifting gym in ABQ if not all of New Mexico! Friendly staff, great equipment, and a strong environment to train in! Looking forward to lifting here as often as I can!

I had a membership here for about 3 months while I was in Albuquerque for work. Unfortunately right now I’m in the same boat as a lot of other reviewers where they ignored my calls/texts/emails trying to cancel my membership. Had to call my bank to get the charge reversed/block the business. Also as a woman it’s not the safest…one night towards the end of my time there a man I’d never seen before came in, stared at me nonstop, then tried to follow me home. The equipment is dirty AF too.

Working with SFS and the gym Freddy Sandoval chooses to work with had always been quality training for me. There's no internal politics to get in the way of a season. I will always on deck whenever I'm in town for these guys.

10/10 would come back! I don’t live in Albuquerque, but I came with an athlete to coach her for the NAO2 2021. We needed a place to train prior to the meet and Legion Iron provided an incredible training environment, with great atmosphere, quality equipment, and tremendous hospitality. I would 100% recommend this facility to anyone looking for a great place to train!

Best 24 Gym in Albuquerque! If you want a real gym to work out in and not have to wait for equipment while social clubs play on their phone and not workout, this is the place to be. Serious gym for real workouts.

This place is more than a gym, it’s a place where you can be accepted. If you go to commercial gyms you’re going for someone else. But when you walk through those doors it’s you are working to make yourself the best version of you. I was 167 lbs skinny and depressed. Now I’m healthy, I weigh 235 bounds of muscle and feel better than ever!!! This place is a true iron paradise you all should definitely check it out and join our family haha

Legion is a serious workout gym. Yet the owners and members are like family and welcome everyone. It's like a second home. Equipment is state of the art Rogue. Check it out

It's a great place for old-school weightlifting. A lot of bpdybuilders here. Not a lot of weight machines though.
