Its been years since I waited less than 45 minutes for my food. I keep hoping its a fluke and its not. The last straw was when my order of chicken tenders had two tiny chicken tenders after waiting over 40 minutes. I wont be returning. The food is too expensive for this.

What a first rate place for an amazing brunch!!! You pick your own table and order/pay at the front. Definitely a bit busy, but the food is incredible, and they have an amazing case of desserts, too!! My posole verde was sooo amazing, and really hit the sweet spot for that New Mexico green chile craving!

Awesome brunch spot... The food is great and gluten free options are available. The GF flapjacks are amazing! The service is noteworthy. The patio was clean and the tables were far enough apart to be socially distant. The London Fog was a dream. The coffee was an earthy delight. 💛

My family and I tried this place….. and we were not disappointed!!!! The hidden treasure is absolutely amazing for an Indian dish. The French toast was delicious, the burrito was delicious. And I tried the chicken couscous risotto………absolutely amazing!! This place is fast, clean, friendly and efficient. Everybody ate all of their food. Bonus… we got to sit out on the patio and it is dog friendly. I highly recommend this place. Keep in mind that you’ll pay for the quality of your food. For 4 of us, it was $80.

Absolutely fantastic service and food! We had a small issue with one of our dishes when it came out, but the manager handled it promptly and well! Everything was absolutely delicious! Had a couple of the seasonal dishes and tried the Mac and cheese and just loved it! Great spot, definitely an instant favorite.

Upon entering the flying star Café, it’s a very retro modern style . Very warm and welcoming and you will always receive a smile with your service. We tried the all day breakfast this time. The taste was not what I had anticipated. My prior visit to this establishment had been quite delicious.

The vegan street tacos and vegan double chocolate cake are soo good. They are on the pricey side and can get pretty busy during lunch so, plan accordingly .

We went this evening and only go because it is so close to our house. There are food quality or wait staff issues every single time at this location, and I can't figure out why it is like that. There were very few customers this evening, so it can't be that they're too slammed. Every time, either something is missing, food is cold, order was wrong, waiter/waitress forgets to bring something we asked for. Prices are way too high for what you get. For instance we paid around $2.50 for 12 ounces of lemonade. No refills. That's utterly ridiculous. Other local gourmet food places outdo Flying Star at a better price, with better service, and better quality food preparation and presentation. At other places, we don't have to wait in line to order. The wait staff comes to us.

Absolutely scrumptious egg salad sandwiches and onion rings. Oh, and the Mexican chocolate lattes are delicious. Ordering took awhile, but we went during peak lunch hours.

Frequent this location. One of the older and larger Flying Star locations, it is a great place for quiet work or conversations. The outdoor space is great for warmer days and is set back off the main road where you don't need to worry about traffic noise. Food is always good, but a bit overpriced (I feel like they always have been, though). It's great place to grab a coffee and dessert and relax or work for a while.

I've been there a few times and I generally like the atmosphere. Its a good spot to get a cup of coffee or a bite to eat and just talk with your friends and family. I appreciate the gluten free and vegan opinions they have. That being said I got a gluten free bun on my burger last time and the bun was burnt. I will recommend the Asian salad, best thing I've had there yet but I plan on trying more in the future

Their breakfast is fantastic and the bowls keep us coming back for more. All the locations are great, but you can't beat the plants, shade, and birds on the patio at this one. Dining in, takeout, and delivery have all been consistently positive experiences. I can't recommend them enough!

I have a new favorite entree at Flying Star, the Stewpot Chicken. It is somewhat like a deconstructed chicken pot pie, without the risk of burning the roof of your mouth and tongue. The generous flaky biscuit stays crispy, not soggy. The tender chicken & veggies are full of flavor. Be sure to plan extra time at the Juan Tabo location, it often takes twice as long as the Wyoming or Corrales locations, although same great food.

Disappointed.. the Menual location is much better quality food. Hands down. Will not be returning. The fish tacos were hard to get down. It looked and tasted undercooked and the chicken tenders were not cleaned very well (tendons, fat etc) and made for unappetizing dinner. The hostess seemed 🥱 bored. Mmm, no thank you.

Ordered extra Avocados on my salad did not get it. Ordered corn tortillas and got flour instead.. this was a take out order picked up by relative. The fish tacos tasted terrible today. Usually everything is fairly good from Flying Star but today at 2:30 pm our order was off and not very tasty. The muffins remained good.

Great food but expensive. Always busy. I see lots of students studying here. Laptop friendly. No guns allowed stickers on entry doors. Those won't stop a crazy bad guy. A very nice place to eat though..

The French toast is a must have. Quality always remains impeccable. Staff is friendly and attentive, cafe is always clean and taken care of. Service is fast and efficient.

The service was amazing, the atmosphere relaxed and spacious, and the food divine. The bread pudding was absolutely delicious even reheated the next day! Trust me you do not wanna miss this place!!

Everything was lovely & the atmosphere outside was serene. The portion of chicken of the chicken couscous bowl was next to nothing though. However, it tasted wonderful & was cooked well. The employees were friendly as always & it was clean & inviting. I hadn't been in a long while & it felt like a nice treat with my friend.

I'm not sure what to make of this place. So many people that I know, love this place. Because of that, I have gone back to try them again, several times. Every time is the same. They have so many incredible "sounding" menu items, and I've tried a different one every time. The food is all just mediocre, and lacks flavor. The deserts are wonderful, and the coffee is great, but the prices are so high; and that's really the only thing I ever remember about the place.
