The
roll
I
ordered
was
prepared
with
different
ingredients
than
what
was
specified
on
the
menu
and
online
which
was
a
very
unpleasant
surprise.
I
would
have
easily
scored
Shogun
a
4
or
possibly
even
5
stars
however
not
being
accurate
to
the
menu
honestly
made
it
a
1
star
dining
experience
so
I'm
trying
to
be
fair
with
3
stars.
I
think
most
people,
like
myself,
are
reluctant
to
ask
a
sushi
chef
to
make
exceptions
or
substitutions
on
sushi
rolls
so
we
look
for
whatever
roll
has
exactly
what
we
want;
therefore
when
you
bite
into
a
roll
and
taste
an
ingredient
that
shouldn't
be
there
its
quite
frustrating
and,
in
my
case,
just
honestly
kind
of
gross
because
an
ingredient
i
strongly
dislike
was
added
to
the
roll
even
though
the
menu
says
otherwise.
And
if
you
get
an
ingredient
you
don't
want
in
your
sushi
roll
the
whole
meal
is
basically
ruined
because
you
can't
pick
it
out
without
destroying
the
whole
roll
itself
because
of
how
sushi
is
made.
Aside
from
that
everything
is
great.
Visually
it
looked
better
than
other
sushi
places
I've
been
to
in
abq.
The
rice
to
protein
and
rice
to
tempura
ratio
all
looked
great
I
just
couldn't
enjoy
it
because
after
biting
into
it
I
realized
it
contained
an
unexpected
ingredient
that
I
dislike.
The
restaurant
itself
was
very
clean
and
the
staff
was
pleasant.
I'm
sure
they
would
have
refunded
my
order
or
re
made
it
but
I
didn't
want
to
make
an
issue
out
of
something
that
probably
isn't
a
very
big
deal
to
most
people.
In
summary,
Shogun's
discrepancy
between
what
the
menu
says
and
what
the
chef
serves
turn
what
would
have
otherwise
been
an
excellent
dining
experience
into
a
poor
one.
