Best sushi in Albuquerque! This place never disappoints. The sushi is fresh and innovative. They also have a hibachi side that I'm sure is wonderful but the sushi is so good that I always go for the sushi. Their hottest is wonderful. I get the hot tea no matter what time of year it is. What a wonderful dinner for our anniversary!!! We sat the communal flattop table and the gentleman cooked everything right in front of us with style and great humor. Everything was delicious, my scallop and shrimp, and my partner's steak were cooked perfectly, and the garlic noodles were a lovely surprise.

Well, they are short staffed at the moment. We had to wait over 1.5 hours after placing the order with the waitress. The chef came out and did a great job, but it took forever to get to that point. The food is always great and veggies are freshly cut. They alway put on a good show. We come here at least twice a year and have been for many years now. This year was not impressive in terms of waiting for food. The waitress did a good job keeping our drinks filled up. She apologized many times.

The food was good the server Nancy was very Nice. The atmosphere was great 👍. I was kind of disappointed in the chef but he did okay. Thank you Nancy for making my son's birthday 🎂 awesome. I would go back but hopefully not get the same chef.

Excellent dinner! The chef was funny and did a great job cooking in front of us. The food is amazing!

Visited for lunch and really enjoyed the hibachi grill experience. We also ordered sushi and some extras. Everything was well prepared. The hibachi chief was great and made for a very enjoyable experience.

Place is awesome, we were there during high-peak times, and were seen very quickly. Food is fantastic, the people Who cook the meals are entertaining. It took a while to get out drinks, but that could have been because they were so busy. $$$$ on the more expensive side, something to be aware of, but we’ll worth the money.

The food is always good from sushi to teppan and the service is great. My favorite thing about this place is they open early you don't have to wait until 4:30pm. The teppan grill is entertaining for all ages especially kids. I would recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Great local Asian food to have in New Mexico.

Our first time here and everything from the staff to our delicious food was 5 star. Can't wait to return and try the sushi but as you can see from my husband's plate there was no room in our tummy's that day.

Wasn’t bad but took forever. We came in early at 4:30 to beat the crowd. But we still didn’t get served until 6pm. So we waited for an hour and a half!! It was a frustrating experience. The food was good and the chef performed well once he got started. The show was enjoyable. The waitress kept our drinks topped off. The food always tastes great. They are just short on staff right now. Other than that, we enjoyed our time together. The atmosphere is moderate with conversations happening all around.

Went for sushi. Haven't been here since pre-covid. The quality of the food was disappointing. The sushi rolls fell apart. Our booth was dirty and the women's room was also dirty and lacked toilet paper.

If I could rate this place a zero, I would! My husband and I went there on 3/2/23, he ordered a beer and I an ice tea. The server then came back and told my husband that they didn't have his beer. He questioned her on the beers, and she told him she didn't know, so he requested to see the beer menu, while he was looking at the menu she took our food order. When we placed our order we wanted a sushi roll as the appetizers then our meals to come out after. The waitress ran off before he could order another drink. Our meals then came out less than five minutes later, we never saw our sushi roll!! We both tried one bite of our shrimp, it was ice cold and rubbery. We were not about to pay for 2 plate at the cost of $24 and a sushi roll that was $16. We would have e spent over $100 for 2 people. We ended up walking out not eating anything and unhappy from the service

Seated immediately and the service was spot on! We enjoyed appetizers, entrees and desserts along with some happy hour beers! Our waiter gets a special nod because he was hustling, coming back to see if we needed anything. Really enjoyed our meal and the fabulous service!

They were SO BUSY on Saturday night! The guy working the front was trying so hard, bless his heart for not quitting even when the line was out the door. It took almost an hour for our take-out when we were quoted 30-40 minutes, but the food was very good. I would absolutely order from here again, I just wouldn't do it on Saturday night lol

Very disappointed in the service here. Brought my girlfriend in for a nice dinner and was just shocked with the service. We’ve ate here before in the past and really enjoyed the experience but I will not be returning here after today. The waitress was really rude and wanted us to order immediately after sitting down. Then after ordering the cook came out and was very rude. Had my order wrong made a deal out going to get the right food for me. Then after he was done cooking, immediately ( not even 2 minutes of being done ) he started making comments on no tip (I had full intention of tipping and still did ). The food was good but unfortunately the Custer service was horrible!

Great food, great service! Came in on a Saturday evening, with a party of 14. Our party was slow to arrive, but they got our table ready, sat those of us there, and took our drink orders. We all got into the table and we had two toddlers with us. Our chef warned us about the fire, and toned it down when one toddler threw a fit over it. He was awesome! The food, for such a large group, was cooked and dispersed quickly. They were very easy going about splitting the check 4 ways. Very great experience all around!

Coming in we asked how long the wait would be for a party of 7 at the grill. We were told the wait would be about an hour so we decided to stay, we came to celebrate a birthday. It took 2 hours and a complaint to the manager to be seated, apparently people coming in after us were being assisted before us. Manager was very short and repetitive. Once we were seated, the experience was great. Food was fresh, our chef was kind and charismatic. Overall, if you're in a large group be prepared to be told one wait time and actually wait for longer.

The wait was over an hour but once we were eating, we forgot all about the wait! :) our cook was amazing & food was so good.

I recently visited this restaurant and I can't tell you how disappointed I was. It's difficult for me to rank the food, service, and atmosphere unless there is a minus number. However, the idiots who set this page up do not allow a posting until you rank these areas. I asked about fried calamari for my appetizer and was told "No fried calamari, only comes with vegetables." I ordered it and it was tasteless. The dinner which was teriyaki chicken was dry, and tasteless. When I received my check, I presented a restaurant card, purchased for New Mexico restaurants. I was told it was not accepted, only at the Wyoming Azuma. Well, Azuma, your food is the worst I've ever had. I will NEVER dine at any of your restaurants and my advice to anyone contemplating ever eating there...do yourself, a favor DON'T.

Really enjoyed the service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I loved our chef on the hibachi grill, but he overcooked my shrimp which only takes 4 to 5 minutes to cook and was cooking all the steak before my shrimp which caused it to be rubbery. I also spent more money on my shrimp then the other customers. Hoping the chef corrects this for next time because I may as well have ordered the steak at that point.

Today was a crazy day for some sushi. A bullet came flying across my head and barely missed me. Food and service was good though.

So this was my first time coming to this place. I have always been excited to eat here and decided to for a special occasion last night. The service was fantastic and the food tasted AMAZING! Unfortunately I woke up extremely sick and spent all night in the bathroom with food poisoning. I don’t think the Teriyaki chicken I ate was cooked long enough. Now I’m worried about the three children at my table that also ate that same chicken. I hope they are okay.. My fiancé stayed up all night with me and shared the same concern about how long the chicken was cooked.
