CheCked in@the Emergency room at Kaseman NE and was seen in 30 minutes and got a room in about an hour. In the middle of the night.. There they told me that I needed other medical attention services which they Could not provide@ that facility. I was then transported by their ambulance services to the major Presberterian (Downtown). Very great Doctors and R.N.. and the techs are very professional and nice personalitys. I would recommend this hospital to my friends/family. Great food ๐Ÿ‘ My buisness associate said that this is one of the best hospitals in New Mexico , and I agree. I will be switching my heaalth plan. Just come early for your appointment and use the parking garage...

Nobody likes to go to the ER, but I was surprised by the service here!! I do have some complaints but I think they're universal in any ER off main street, USA. Overall, service was impressive and way beyond my expectation after my extensive wait!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Wish I could give a full 5 stars but see cons for why I give it a 4+ instead. PROS: *signage for check in was quick and easy. *Lady behind the counter was friendly and sympathetic to why I was there. *I waited only maybe 5 to 10 mins before they called me in to check vitals and do like a prescreening and had me go back out and wait until a room could open up. *The Security presence is very known and on top of any situation that wasn't welcome (ESPECIALLY welcomed as a 30year old female- who was there from 8pm until 5am). -they escorted a handful of people out when I was there which was nice but of course you are left feeling bad cause they maybe needed some kind of help ๐Ÿ˜• *centrally located *hand sanitizer and mouth mask dispensers everywhere which is nice. *there are vending machines that take card and dollars mostly. Looked like the coins didn't work. But there is a subway in the main area next door if needed. Also door dashers stopped in a couple times. *the desk area can provide clean blankets upon request. As well as gauze, wheelchairs and some medicines if avail. CONS: *the location is a little tough, both as surrounding streets and the ER waiting room in general, but that's just how it is on that corner of abq. *the wait: it was quite busy that the wait from check in until they called me to the smaller waiting room was 5 hours. From there, I didn't see a person or here a peep for 2 hours. From there it was another hour before I got to see the dr and get any hands on attention. From there it went very smooth and quick. TOTAL TIME AT ER 9HRS on a Thursday eve. *there are some things you may not want to see or hear there but what can you do in an emergency? I saw a man urinate multiple times and dance around in it around the main area of the waiting room, and it took sometime before it was stopped or cleaned - but it was a very busy night in their defenses. Also there were some foul remarks yelled as some were being escorted out, so just have thick skin if you hear it.

Terrible staff, Terrible Healthcare. No follow up, my husband has been waiting for 6 hours in severe pain and no one cared. They let drunk in first without any care to sick people. I'll file a complaint against this hospital and the ED department.

I brought my father to the Pres ER since he seemed to be having a stroke. One nurse was very kind and helpful. He had three techs in the room trying to draw blood while she was away. The three started to make fun of my father and loudly laugh at him as he resisted, because he did not know what was happening. Fortunately, the nurse heard their frivolity and stuck her head in and asked if everything was alright. The three stood frozen in silence as if they had been caught with their hands in the cookie jar. I shook my head "no" and thankfully she stepped in to take over. She calmly and gently drew blood from my dad for the lab test. I understand that Pres is understaffed, but I wish that the techs and EMTs and aides that they used that night were not buffoons. The nurse was great. My dad died a few weeks later and I made sure that my health insurance is designed that I can never be treated st Presbyterian Hospital, especially the ER.

I can here to get help with contemplations about my stomache....I did not receive any help what so ever except to get 2 adivan right be 4 am when the nurses and security staff told me I need to leave....they refused to present the doctor whom had discharged me , but became very adamant I had spoke with him prior to paperwork being signed...when I asked for their names the became very protective and refused to provide them.... From january 10th to earlier January 11 staff has been reluctant to assist in any way that suits the painients, they blantaly treat the paitents as nusences. People come here to get help in my case my stomach would not keep and water or fluids down, I was onlygiven was adivan adivan and slip of paper to leave

Did not see a doctor, but a PA. She said I looked fine, ordered a chest x-ray and nothing else. I asked to talk to a social worker and was refused. No urine or blood because I "look fine" to the PA (Lucy was her name). What a waste of time. I'm cancelling all future appts because I "look fine" to Lucy the PA. You can't even talk to a real doctor at this place...just a PA who won't run any of the standard tests and tells you "you look fine." She did her entire exam and conversation in a small room with 4 other patients sitting in recliners coughing and hacking. The patients that were coughing and hacking seemed to get decent service. I wonder if they got to talk to a real doctor? I wonder if their urine and bloodwork were checked. Presbyterian has gone downhill fast. Find another plan.

Going on 34 hours in the ER. I knew medical care was bad here but this takes the cake. Most of the staff are nice but my grandmother went 13 hours no food, no updates from the doctor. Sheโ€™s now sitting in a room with nothing but a curtain since about 6 AM and all they can say is โ€œshes going to be admittedโ€. So much to a Katie ya legal right to timely care right? Youโ€™re better off just riding out whatever it is, you certainly wonโ€™t get care here.

Iโ€™ve been in this emergency room for more than 19 hours an the patients advocate is the worst. She is so unhelpful. Doesnโ€™t even seem to care at all. Every nurse only cares about checking vitals then actually treating people. Donโ€™t come here if your in any real pain or actually sick because you have to be on your death bed to actually be seen.

Absolutely terrible. I came in at 2am and wasn't seen at all. I eneded leaving at 7:30am due to them taking I'm others who got there hours after me. The receptionist just kept saying I had to wait for a room. yet they are putting those who came in an hour ago In a room vs me who has been there for 6. Nurses are nice yes. other than that aweful, I got better help going to my local clinic. What kind of hospital has an over 10+hrs wait time in an EMERGENCY clinic? might as well just call it clinic.

This has got to be the worst experience I have had in an emergency facility ever!!! I was taken by ambulance to the emergency entrance where my vitals were taken and blood drawn and an ekg done. Then I was put in a wheelchair and pushed into the emergency admittance room where I waited for 8 1/2 hours until I was seen by a nurse or doctor!! I asked the receptionist if I could get something for my nausea. She said she would ask the nurse and never did !! Other elderly sick people were waiting that long!! There were homeless there with mental problems yelling at other patients and becoming violent, security guards dealt with them many times it was scary!! They do not care about any of the patients or how sick or how long they have to wait for helpโ€ฆ I will never go back there! It felt like I was in a 3rd world country!! Close it down so sad and discussing!

Presbyterian hospital on Central is the absolute most Ghetto and incompetent hospital I've been to in a very long time if ever! I'm a Cancer patient and I'm having some serious side effects or something so I go to the Emergency room and what did I do that for! That lady doctor and the male nurse are two accidents waiting to happen! Want be long and somebody going to lose there life there behind the incompetence! Also a women was inside with no mask just coughing all over the place and they said absolutely nothing to her! They should shut that place down if those are the best employees they can come up with before someone or one's lode there life or come out crazy from a mid diagnosis or some other error of incompetence! The date wad 02/06/23. I truly hope someone sees this and get them out of that hospital. I will go to Lovelace if I have an emergency.

After reading all these one star reviews we were a little hesitant to come but glad we did. My toddler complained of abdominal pain. The security guard at the front was super friendly and nice. The check in process was quick and easy. The waiting room was clean. We waited for less than an hour to be called to be seen. The doctor was professional and friendly to my child and answered all my questions. We were cared for by two nurses. The second nurse we saw in the back room was caring and friendly. He offered my child apple juice and crackers. While waiting for the results of the tests, my son threw up on the floor And I felt so bad for making a mess. The nurse said "no worries I'll take care of it" and he even helped me to open the restroom door for us. Visiting the emergency room was not fun but the staff at the hospital surely made everything smooth and painless. Thank you!

I am very appreciative of the care I got here. The evening staff was attentive, especially my nurse Zach. The CNP and PA were very thorough and took the time to explain possibilities and next steps to me. I was there on a busy day and had long waits, but I knew that was a possibility.

๐Ÿ˜  HORRIBLE!! I was visiting from out of town. I arrived at the ER at 10pm. The check-in process is completed in front of EVERYONE and the whole waiting room will know your SSN. Theyโ€™re quick to draw blood and get your vitals, but thatโ€™s it! No DR, PA, LPN or RN sees you! People who where having chest...
