A lively, friendly, well-staffed and efficient restaurant located right on the seafront, overlooking the estuary. I have a special dietary requirement, which (with an earlier phone call to discuss),was perfectly catered for with minimum fuss. Food is lovely, a little pricey, but what a view! The fish and chips looked amazing.

A great find & it shows there are doing it right as the place was fully booked, packed and people were willing to wait. The strips of fillet and the salmon teriyaki noodles were delicious. Good service, great food and even better views. If ever in the area again would defiantly make a return visit.

Not possible to book place outside, it's very dissapointing. Food was average for the price we would expect more. Tatar sauce looked like was eaten already, we got very less and it was dished for while ...it didn't look fresh at all, but when we asked for more, we got some fresh one. So that's positive. All and all pretty average experience, not sure we would be returning again.

Actually open on Boxing Day , no reservation required, great location, friendly staff and really good food. They have a large choice of various foods including tapas. We had the steak in red wine and chicken Milanese followed by cheesecake n waffles. We were outside, undercover, enclosed with the sea as our view. There is also an inside area. Ladies and gents toilets downstairs but disabled toilet on the level. They also do takeaway coffees, etc. Well worth a visit and Would definitely come again.

Visited on recommendation from our airbnb hosts. Food was incredible and service is amazing - waiters are so attentive for drinks and food orders and a great range of food to select from. Highly recommend the tapas orders as the portion sizes are bigger than your average tapas bar and 4 dishes were more than enough between 2 people. Have a wide range of drinks and staff are able to make custom cocktails too if you ask, would definitely go back again!

Enjoy a lovely lunch with my daughter for her birthday. We both love sea food and the Calamari and sea food salad was great. Followed by chocolate brownie and banoffe sundae happy days. Service was very good, not rushed. A very nice relaxed atmosphere and nice views across the estuary.

Pleasantly surprised by this unassuming restaurant. Nice view by the water front. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend mussels which are fresh and tasty. Good value for money. Food 8/10, service 8/10, ambience 8/10, value for money 8/10.

What a beautiful place to sit and have a meal. The food was amazing... it was cooked beautifully. My fish melted in my mouth. The taste was amazing. Service was on point the staff was all very friendly and helpful. They stood and answered our questions with no problems. They told us what was nice. Ever down to the wine they helped with. There's guys really had good customer service. They thanked us for coming when we were leaving. Greeted us when we came in. I have never been to a place where the staff was so nice. It was a great place to be in. We had so much fun and can not wait to go back again. To also find out that is was the old loos in Southend is amazing what they have done to the place. Definitely I would recommend this pace.

A lovely little gem that sits in the beach front. They have a lady there with curly hair didn't catch her name who is super lovely. The food was delicious and the restaurant is lovely and clean.

First time coming here yesterday with family. There was slight delay when staff were finding our table reservation in their reservations book, but afterwards we were quickly seated. Seating and atmosphere is pleasant (divided into restaurant and decking seating respectively), and there's even a fish tank with pretty Kois to entertain the kids. For mains I ordered Salmon Teriyaki Noodles. We did wait a bit longer than expected for our mains (given it was also a pretty busy afternoon), but once they arrived the waitress did apologise for the delay, and the food turned out well-presented, delicious and thus worth the wait. For dessert I ordered Belgian Waffles (with ice cream). Again, yummy and wonderfully presented. Therefore this place gets an easy recommendation from me. I'd love to come back in the Summer perhaps and enjoy the fabulous sea views from the decking area, given it was rainy when we attended yesterday.

Good menu including various tapas, as well as mains of chicken fish and burgers choices. I really liked the Sea Bass with crushed potatoes. The Scampi was also cooked to perfection according to my partner.

We came down here yesterday to have lunch with our little one and we had a really nice afternoon. Great place to enjoy the sunshine, yummy food, great selection of wines, brilliant service and on top of that they also served Estrella Galicia on tap and perfectly poured!! Bit pricey though but I guess that's way you got to pay for the view. We'll definitely go back!

The beef with olive is really delicious! Nice seafront view, good service, will come here again! Highly recommended.

Lovely place we stumbled on whilst walking the seafront. We chose from the Tapas menu and the food was amazing. Really top quality. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The only minor issue is the music was to loud and club like for my taste. Would have been nicer with more sedate music. Still I will return for the food, service and view.

Had a cappuccino and tapas for a snack today. Location and service very good. I would have given 5 stars for my brunch today but a bit pricy and the regular coffee was actually a small coffee but it was tasty and hot. I will go again and try another dish.

Stunning setting in the conservatory with sun shining. Only went in for drinks but decided to have lunch and it was beautiful. I had a coffee, seafood linguine and a pint. It was reasonably priced, good portions and delicious. The staff were polite and helpful, the restaurant itself was clean and tidy. Highly recommended

Excellent food! The staff member who served us was brilliant too! She made us feel as if we are there regular customers! Very please about deciding to go there. Thames estuary was at low tide as we had lunch. This is one of the few places on the seafront along the that part of Southend on sea. Went for a lovely walk on the seafront after lunch.

We received a warm welcome with a smile and they quickly checked if they had room for us. After confirming they had a table available for us they took us to the table but had to clean it first from the last people so we was awkwardly standing next to the table waiting for it to be cleaned but they did clean is quickly and we sat down and the view was nice so we brushed it off. The menu was a good size with lots of items to choose from. We was in for a light lunch so my wife had the tiger prawn salad and I had the Ndjua bruchetta and patatas bravas. There was a little wait for the food around 30 minutes but it came out fresh so the wait was fine. My wife's tiger prawns where massive as you can see in the photos, fresh and tasty with a crisp fresh seasoned salad. Only downside to the prawns was they had not been de-veined. As for my Njdua and patatas bravas, both dishes where fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend both. Overall it was a solid 9/10 lunch and would recommend and will be returning again.

Always a good place to go. Doesn't matter if it's a coffee, or a beer/glass of wine, I always like popping down on weekend, or after work to sit and enjoy watching the sunset. Plus, gives me an opportunity to take some good photos of the picturesque scenery.

Wonderful location on the beach front with lovely views (on a clear day). Has a big terrace going on the beach with additional seating on the sands. Big menu, albeit overpriced, but due to the location its worth it. Great sized portions and tasty food. The staff member who served us was polite, friendly and attentive. Recommend to stop for lunch however I'd suggest to book as it does get busy 📸

My Fiancé K and I came here to celebrate our engagement and what an experience. I have known this restaurant for a good few years and having been here previously with my parents I just had to go back at the right moment. So I didn't know what I had planned in secret after contacting the restaurant and after emailing I got an immediate response from Dan who kindly arranged a bunch of Roses for my fiancé. Little did I know K had also made plans in secret to have some special arrangement of Bubbles waiting for us on our arrival, I have to say the team done very well to keep this quiet untill I figured out what had happened to my amazement. "Great minds think alike" K had organised this gesture without me knowing and it was well received. To celebrate our engagement at this restaurant and how we were treated by all the staff in making this experience special meant so much to us that we will return! The food Amazing!! I've never seen my fiancé K eat so much and enjoy the food that we ordered 😀 We ordered a selection of tapas 6 in total which was more than enough and filled us right up. The Peri Peri Wings, Picado steak, Patatas Bravas, Garlic Mushrooms, Ham and Cheese Croquettas and Calamari. All of which were undeniable exquisite, taste and above all the sauces that accompanied then were spot on! We even had enough room for a desert to share Strawberry Cheesecake mmmm WOW! HUGE thank you to the management team for all your efforts and staff in making this special occasional memorable for us. Even though we had to travel for an hour to get there this wouldn't be our last trip. Already contemplating returning much sooner than later just to have wonderful food again as we are foodies. This will undoubtedly become "Our Place" which has meaning to our relationship as a go to when we want our Alone time away from our busy hectic schedules with work and family life. We cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience and it's one remember and we look forward to going back. See you All soon

What a fantastic view! Service was friendly and not to scary on the price either. Had a late breakfast and was delish.
