Disapointing stay with a good view from the 14th floor. I stayed with a tour group and did not choose the hotel personally. The location was only ok. We didn't arrive at a time to allow for exploration, so I could not comment more than to say it was on a very busy street of vehicles. Our room did not reflect the Radisson reputation. It was small, dated, and not functional. The lighting was extremely poor with only a couple of lamps and one not funtioning. The bed and pillows were comfortable, however. The shower, although dated, had good water pressure. Our meal for dinner that was included as a buffet was not good. The food was bland and mostly cold and did not reflect the good Turkish gastronomic food of the region. The included breakfast was similiarly disappointing. I would not choose to stay here again.

Hotel was busy in October. It look 30min to get on one of the 3 small lifts. On the way down, it took even longer. The dinner and breakfast buffets were below average. Room was small and dated

Had the pleasure of spending 7 nights at the hotel. Rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. Food in the bar area was excellent and one member of staff in particular, Busra always greeted me with a smile and was always keen to engage and provide welcome conversation. Certainly enhanced my visit to Turkey

Let me start with Positives: the location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to old Ankara and High speed train station. The staff is professional and friendly. Value for money: fair. Negatives: Rooms clean but furnitures are dated. The rooms gets lots of road noise because of double glazed windows not doing any good job. Finally, they charged me 26 US dollars for a half bottle sparking Turkish wine at the bar, which is a daylight robbery. Ask the price of the drinks before order.

I came to Ankara for a very important exam and had no time to struggle finding a proper and clean place, Radisson Blu was the safest bet and it was worth every penny. Precious employees were so cheerful and very helpful especially the ones at the Reception. Absolutely the best. Loved it. Enjoyed it. Thank you Radisson Blu.

I stayed at 7th floor. View is nice however I couldn’t sleep due to disgusting smell. Its very old and make you feel like it has been smoked many years before and it still remains. Air conditioning is horribly noisy I needed to close it. Bathroom was too old I mean very old it wasnt white! The color faded to another color who would pay for that?! With the money they take they can buy new one :/ 2 star for helpful stuff and comfy bed.

As a professional Tour Leader I can guarantee this is your best choice in Ankara. Besides being a modern, renovated and huge hotel, it brings the excellent service a group or individual can expect. As a professional traveler I am used to stay in hotels worldwide 80% of the time and the staff at Radisson Blue Ankara is out of the ordinary. You can trust you will have a very well located hotel and a very comfortable hotel.

My stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel was exceptional. The entire staff that I interacted with were pleasant and always willing to assist. The room was not only clean, but also incredibly cozy, and the staff's exceptional service truly made my stay more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown Ulus. I am definitely planning on returning here for future visits, and I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends and relatives. Thank you!

Perfect location, it is in the historic center in front of the youth park and close to the Mauaoleum and mosques. The rooms are very comfortable, the shower is small a large and bulky person would have problems. The hair dryer has no strength and it is impossible to use it The dinner buffet was not very varied and the food was cold. The prices of the bottles of the cocktails are fine, but the amount of whiskey for the value you pay is not correct. The hotel has a fairly well-equipped gym. Staff hardly speak English and it's hard to communicate

The room smelled a bit musty at first but cleared out fast after opening the window and we never smelled it again later after leaving and coming back, room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast serves delicious food.

I’m back at the hotel now for my third period of two weeks. The service has always been excellent, but on my return as guest it feels especially good to be welcomed back in the most generous and warm manner. I have only good experiences with the staff, however I would like to give a special shoutout to Icran Erdogan, whose service and attitude is representing the staff of this hotel in the best possible way.

Air conditioner wasn't working and the room was very hot . I went to talk to the clerk after two calls their asking to change for another room and they told me rudely that the air condition was off and they can't do anything. We wrote to the agent to put the claim and after that, they called to the room but we had already sleeping with the windows open and the street noises . It was a bad service and another thing the bathroom was very old with tiles unplugged. I don't recommend this hotel

Great room, was given a junior suite for 3 adults, could have fitted 6. 2 balconies. Nice buffet meal.

The hotel is so old with expired furniture and facilities used for more than 20 years. Needs serious renewal and maintenance. I dont know how a well known name like radisson blu allow this mess of a hotel to keep in work. Also they will scam you 15 dollars on your check out without explaining the reason for this tax and I think they dont expect any customer to come back again.

Awful experience everything for them is about money I was food poison because of their food. I don't know why every time I call reception someone new answer phone call and they don't help you at all. Awful internet wifi. Internet is filtered so you cannot go to LGBTQ websites. they also argued with me over a 4 dollars soup because their machine doesn't work with my credit card company.

I was for a night there and i m not appreciated with the radisson hotel. The rooms were not so clean and they are also not modern. I ve paid too much for a low quality.

How this hotel can be called Radisson blu is a mystery to me. Very outdated and small rooms. The 2nd star is just for the polite staff. Unfortunately not to be recommended.

It's too old the building. Rooms need renovation. Aircon doesn't work until "summer", so at 35°C in May, you can't sleep at night. (windows only open 3 centimeters or so). Shower leaking all over the place. Covid organized breakfast was so so. Was really expecting for more.

  • 5/5 snmkytkn 3 years ago on Google
Everything was wonderful. The rooms were extremely clean. All Covid rules were observed immaculately. Definitely will choose this hotel to stay in Ankara again. It is a short taxi trip away from the historic Ankara castle which is a must see. I liked Anıtkabir as well. Staff is very helpful and problem solving.

Older smaller room. Not sure why this is a four star hotel. Had the same issue with leaking from the shower. Room and bathroom were small. Never had a chance to try the breakfast, but soup one evening was good. Location is very good and the is a taksi stand outside of the hotel. Close to the main train station and walking distance to many attractions. Was expecting better somehow for a Radisson and was left disappointed.

Poor old rooms.Smelly. Staff not that friendly. Doesnt even open the door if you are coming in with luggage. No courtesy. Definately not a 4 star hotel.Horrible toilet seats. Pan is bigger than the seat.Breakfast service not upto 4 star hotel buffet . Not a 4 star.

What kind of a 4 star hotel doesn't have room service after 10pm? This one. No food at night. Staff are nice and very helpful. Management dropping the ball on room service.

  • 1/5 emre t. 2 years ago on Google
I would've chosen 0 or -1 stars if I could. They, as management, don't possess the necessary traits of being in the service industry. If you won't take care of your customers then you won't have any customers in time, which I hope what will happen as soon as possible.

Excellent view of Ankara from balcony also close to all places of interests and historic markets. All my stays at the Radisson Blu Ankara have been brilliant. Including the latest in April 2022 The staff are very friendly, polite, respectful, courteous and very helpful. The balcony rooms offer great views of this historic city and rooms and the hotel is exceptionally clean and is well taken care off. Amenities at the hotel such as room service, Internet and specially parking have been great. On two occasions I had to depart very early morning on excursions and hotel staff prepared breakfast hampers for me without any costs. The buffet breakfast has always been great. The hotel is also 10-15 min walk away from the main attractions of Ankara such as the castle, museums, mosques and bazaars. Within the locality is also the main thorough fair of Anafartalar Caddesi which in my opinion is the cheapest place you can do your shopping in Turkey and all the prices are local and this includes the crafts made at the historic Hans. The local gençlik park is also great with a funfair nearby.

Great hotel to overnight. Meals are of high standard.

The location is really good and the price is very good. The breakfast is yummy because there's the best Turkey watermelon. Sometimes I need to tell the staff that there's no face tissue or toilet paper in my room. Sometime I ordered the food they wrote down the wrong one and changed me a little bit more. But it's OK, most of the staff are nice and I stayed happy here. The park on the other side of the road is a good place for walking.

The hotel staff is really really kind and caring. They made sure we have everything what we need, helped us with any problem we had, and gave us suggestions about free time activities. The rooms and the common areas are comfortable and clean. The view is amazing from the higher floors. The metro station and the bus station is basically at the entrance of the hotel. About 5 minutes away by walk, we can get to the Genclık Park, and find the Luna (adventure) Park inside. Thank you all for your hard work, would like to be back again! 😊
