TIP:
BRING
A
BIKINI!
This
hamam
seems
very
different
from
the
touristy
ones
in
Istanbul.
The
interior
is
large
and
it
is
full
of
locals.
If
you
want
an
adventure,
come
here.
If
you're
looking
for
a
spa-like
experience
and
to
relax...
I'm
not
sure
you
will
find
it
here.
I
got
the
super
complete
package
of
entry+massage+kese
scrubbing+coffee
scrub
for
97
TL.
No
English
is
spoken
so
I
just
had
to
deal
with
impatient
older
women
ushering
from
one
place
to
another.
Of
course
I
didn't
know
I
had
to
bring
a
bikini
so
it
was
really
weird
and
awkward
to
be
naked
when
everybody
else
had
something
on.
There
wasn't
much
time
given
to
relax
in
the
sauna
before
somebody
grabbed
me
to
start
the
scrubbing.
I
had
the
scrubbing
which
was
very
harsh
and
left
my
sensitive
skin
some
red
bumps
(no
big
deal)
and
the
coffee
body
mask
(??).
They
threw
a
bag
of
coffee
powder
at
me
and
my
lady
use
that
to
slather
coffee
all
over
me.
Strange
experience
but
interesting.
The
massage
was
missable
but
hey
since
it
was
so
cheap
I
might
as
well
try
everything.
After
being
told
to
take
a
shower
to
rinse
off
all
the
coffee
on
me,
the
lady
asked
if
I
wanted
her
to
shampoo
me.
THEN
EVERYTHING
WENT
DOWNHILL...
Some
other
guest
kindly
lent
me
some
shampoo
and
my
lady
started
waterboarding
me
with
tons
of
shampoo
and
buckets
of
water.
I
was
literally
fighting
to
get
some
air
and
breath
after
she
covered
my
face
again
and
again
with
shampoo
bubbles.
That
went
on
for
way
too
long
and
I
had
to
keep
fighting
the
buckets
of
water
and
bubbles
covering
my
face
and
not
letting
me
breath.
Good
thing
that
was
the
end
of
this
complete
package
of
services.
I
paid
1
TL
for
a
nice
refreshing
sparkling
water
to
celebrate
my
survival
of
this
waterboarding
experience.
Even
though
this
Hamam
opens
late,
local
friends
tell
me
this
is
not
a
nice
area
so
maybe
skip
it
at
night.
